Summer Apothecary Jars

I posted awhile back (on my old blog which I transferred here) about my seasonal apothecary jar displays. They are one of my favorite items in the house because I can easily change them up when I get bored and it doesn’t cost a fortune to do it.

I used the same summer display items that I have used the past couple of years, but I am hoping to change it up for the 4th of July. I am hoping some of you have some ideas for me.  I just cannot find any 4th of July stuff that I love.  I like to do different patterns and textures for each jar, which might be where I am getting stuck.

And do you have a similar set?  What do you put in yours?  Please share!

Spread the love

Patriotic ribbons, red/white/blue jelly beans or M&M’s or gumballs, firecrackers. I have these glittery starburst things in red, silver, blue from a few years ago (i think from Michaels or maybe Marshalls/Tjmaxx), I guess they are meant to look like a firework. You could cut the fringe off a few of these http://www.centurynovelty.com/detail_249_146-1126.html?mr:referralID=0eced171-9792-11e0-be22-001b2166becc

Gumballs or those sparkly puff balls in red white and blue look super cute!! And also layering the three colors of sand looks really cool!! I also love the idea of sparklers or some other kind of firework!!

They are from Costco and came in a set of three for like $29. Sadly I bought them over 10 years ago and have never found them again.
