Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.
The Soap Box – Spring Box

Today I received what may be the best smelling subscription box in the history of all subscription boxes. Seriously. That box, was The Soap Box by Fortune Cookie Soap.

The Soap Box is a quarterly subscription ($19.99/quarter) that is centered around handcrafted, bath + body products. All subscription boxes will include 8-10 exclusive Fortune Cookie Soap products in adorable mini-sizes. You will also receive a $10 gift code with each Soap Box, that can be redeemed online. The quarterly boxes are themed based on the season and you can see the contents of the box before you order. They also have some examples of past boxes on their site and they all have been adorable!

First Look

I received the Spring Soap Box, which ships to subscribers on March 4th, AS LONG AS, you subscribe by February 25th. It didn’t come with an information card, but I went to their website and easily found this, which is just perfect!

And here are the details:

~“The Birds & The Bees” Bath Fizzy: I’ve always wanted to try a bath bomb and this is my chance.  I swear, one night SOON I am going to get me a giant glass of wine, set my laptop with with some PLL, throw in this fizzy and just relax.  It smells amazing (it’s fruit and sweet) and probably will do wonders for my dry skin.

~”Late Bloomer” Fortune Cookie Soap: How stinkin cute is this little soap?  I’m not a big bar soap person, but this is nothing like traditional bar soap.  It’s fun and it’s got little gritty scrubbies on it and I love it.

“Late Bloomer” Fortune Cookie Soap

~“Down to Earth” Tea Light Candle: This candle does smell fresh and earthy, as promised.  It’s a perfect color for Spring and it’s making me excited for flowers and fresh cut grass and all those great smells!

~“Dirty Hoe” OCD Hand Sanitizer: Not only does this smell fabulous, but it has the best name ever.  Seriously, I was checking out Fortune Cookie Soap’s website and their products all have the best names.  I was cracking up.  I cannot wait to show this to my friends!

“Dirty Hoe” OCD Hand Sanitizer

~“A Nod to the Hippies” Shimmer Stick: How can you go wrong with a fun shimmer stick?  It can be used anywhere on the body you want to highlight, not jusy your lips.  This does smell, hippie’ish, but not in a haven’t showered for four days and don’t even shave way.  In a good peace and love way.

“A Nod to the Hippies” Shimmer Stick

~“Kiss My Vine” Bath Salts: No, no, no, these are those kind of bath salts, these are yummy smelling salts (which are strawberry & champagne scented)!  I kinda feel like B is going to use some of this stuff.  He honestly takes more baths than I do and likes to smell good.

“Kiss My Vine” Bath Salts

~“Honey-Dew Me” Whipped Cream: Don’t tell me you don’t love the name of this one!  I put this one right after I took this picture and it smells awesome.  It’s not runny or too thick.  It’s just right.

“Honey-Dew Me” Whipped Cream

~“I Wet My Plants” Spray Lotion: This is probably my least favorite scent in the box.  I sprayed it and was kinda meh and then I read the card online and realized that I didn’t love it because it has baby powder in it and I’m not a huge baby powder fan.  The spray part has me intrigued though.  Does anyone use spray lotion?  Tell me more!

“I Wet My Plants” Spray Lotion

~Snapdragon Seeds: I don’t believe I have ever planted / grown Snapdragons, but I am totally looking forward to it!

Snapdragon Seeds

I considered calculating a value for everything, but since most of these products are new, I couldn’t find them on line.  Don’t forget that The Soap Box also comes with a $10 gift code to Fortune Cookie Soaps, so I can easily say that the box is well worth the $19.99/cost.  I love that it’s a quarterly subscription because I know that I would never be able to use all of this in a month.

The bath products do make me want to take a bath instead of a quick shower. The kids here like to squeeze the snapdragon blossoms to make them snap. It’s their favorite flower.

You should plant some snapdragons for L. Dill and Mason love to pull the flowers off and make them “snap”

love a bath. try to have 1 at least once a week with bubbles/salts, wine, candles and the current book or magazine i’m reading. i wanna win…lol

also meant to mention the snapdragons really come in some awesome colors and so pretty, grow easily but if it’s the tall ones they require a bit of work because they are top heavy and usually have to be tied or staked to stay up straight. i have some i need to redo because they come up kind of sideways already.
