One of the boxes I received yesterday happened to be Lip Factory, Inc.  In case you aren’t familiar with them, Lip Factory, Inc. is an affordable monthly beauty subscription.  Their beauty kits may include a full face of makeup products however, their focus is primarily on lips.  Kits will include lip products such as lip glosses, lip sticks, lip liners and lip therapy products.

Lip Factory
The Box in a Box

The outer Lip Factory box is a plain brown box with Lip Factory printed on it.  The inside is where the fun starts.  It’s really a box in a box.

First Look

I could not believe how many goodies were packed in this box.  OMG.  The first look had me totally impressed.

The Information Card

The March Lip Factory Box is all about the lips!  There are no special instructions other than to just have fun!  Also, I didn’t know this, but lip gloss was invented in 1930 by Max Factor.  Perhaps one of the best inventions of all time.  Next to maybe electricity.  😉

Here’s what was included:

~NYX Jumbo Lip Pencil (Hera) ($4.50): I’m really loving these jumbo lip pencils.  I like the one I got in my February PopSugar box a lot, so I am interested to see how this one stacks up.

~Designer Skin Lip Shimmer (Royal Vendetta) ($9.99): Oh, I love this!  It’s possible that this is my favorite item in the entire box.  It clicks like a pen so you will always get the perfect amount and I love this color!  A win-win!

~Be A Bombshell Lip Gloss (Sugar Lips) ($14): I’ve gotten a few of these Be A Bombshell glosses in my subscription boxes and I’ve always been happy with them.  This is one of the favorite colors I have received and can’t wait to play with it.

~LaSplash Lip Laquer (Forbidden) ($6.99): This kind seems like it’d be all sticky, but it’s not. It’s shiny sheer color and hydrates well.  And since it’s sheer you aren’t going to be overwhelmed with pink lips.

~Dermalogica Renewal Lip Complex Sample: This has me very interested.  I have a feeling I will be buying the full size of this.  It says it “restores chapped, rough lips, leaving them soft and supple” and since I slap on lip balm 24-7 I don’t really have these issues, I would love to know if this would make me need less lip balm.  I do realize that I am making myself addicted to using lip balm.

~Korres Liquid Lipstick (Berry) ($22): Years ago I used to be in love with the Korres skin care line.  I don’t know what happened, but I stopped buying it?  I had no idea that they even made make-up?  No matter, I am looking forward to testing this!  Such a great color and it sounds totally perfect!

~OFRA Cosmetics Lipstick (Berry Sexy) ($13): This might be a little intense for me, but I’ll give it a go.  Inside the house anyways.  I should really get a little more daring with my lip products.  But I’m a scaredy pants.

~Extra: Lip Factory, Inc. Lip Brush: I do not own a lip brush, so this is a welcome addition!  What brushes does everyone use?  Do you have a brand you totally love?

~Extra: Diamond Cosmetics Lip Liner (Rust) ($2.10): This wasn’t listed on my card, so I can only assume it was an extra item.  I know Lip Factory does that with their boxes and I love it!  Not only do you get a bunch of great products, you get surprise extras!

All totaled, the March Lip Factory, Inc. Beauty Kit had a value of $72.58!  And that’s not even including the brush or the sample!  Totally amazing considering that it’s only $22/month ($26/month if you are in Canada).

Do you subscribe to the Lip Factory, Inc.?  What’d you think of the March box?  And if you don’t subscribe and want to or just want to learn more, click here.
