Lip Factory, Inc. is an super affordable monthly beauty subscription. Their beauty kits may include a full face of makeup products however, their focus is primarily on lips. Kits will include lip products such as lip glosses, lip sticks, lip liners and lip therapy products. Once a quarter, Lip Factory does a “Lips Only” box. I was kind of thinking it might be the June box, but now that I think more about it, it’s probably the July one?
I’ll skip the outer box pictures this month and get right to the inner box. In case you don’t know, Lip Factory ships a box in a box. Boxes are shipped from Florida, via USPS and always arrive quickly!
Lip Factory always puts together an amazing box and was pleased by the first look. I didn’t recognize many products, which I was thrilled about because that’s why I love subscription boxes. You get the chance to try SO many new things you’d never have tried before. And you are paying full price for every single one them. So if you end up hating something, it’s not a huge deal you know?
The June Lip Factory, Inc. theme was all about Vacation! I’ve been thinking about summer vacations and Lip Factory is too. This month they are helping to pack our summer bags with some great products! Also, this month they are introducing Essence Cosmetics, Colour U Cosmetics & Manic Panic to the box.
Here’s what my June Lip Factory, Inc. box included:
~Befine Exfoliating Cleanser (Sample): Ohhh, this scrub looks great. I say this all the time, but I never actually buy scrubs for myself. I love them, but they aren’t like something I ever buy. So yeah, I was thrilled to see this and will use it this weekend!
~Manic Panic Raven Mascara ($10): It’s possible that this is the biggest and heaviest mascara I have ever owned. Not that that’s a bad thing because it’s so NOT! I love it! I’ve never heard of Manic Panic before (have you guys?), but I’m digging it. Mascara is my second favorite product (behind lip balm / gloss), so I was thrilled to see this in here!
~Essence Volumizing Lash Powder ($3.49): I had to GTS to figure out what one does with lash powder (the June Lip Factory Beauty Kit online information isn’t up yet), but once I figured it out, liked the sounds of it. You use lash powder along with mascara to get fuller, long lashes. It’s the look of false eyelashes without being false eyelashes. I can’t wait to get a few minutes to play around with this. I’d never even know to buy this or look for it at the store, but it could become a new holy grail!
~29 Cosmetics Lipstick (Berry Stain) ($25): I don’t wear lipstick a ton (I’m a lip gloss girl), but I think this color is fabulous. If I don’t end up using it in the next few months, I will pass it along to my SIL, who loves lipstick. Lipstick to her is mascara to me. And I think she loves when I pass along items to her that.
~Colour U Cosmetics Loose Shadow (Caribbean Sea) ($15): I couldn’t have taken a worse picture of this if I tried. The color is a very pretty aqua and I played around with it a little and it’s great. Again would I buy aqua shadow? Probably not. But I love getting wild shadow colors in these boxes!
~Londontown Nail Laquer (Guarded Jewel) ($22): The June boxes had a unofficial red, white & blue theme (this was noticed by the ladies at MUT) and I saw variations of both red and blue polishes in people’s boxes. I love that I got the red (it’s darker than the picture) and plan to paint my toes with it soon.
~Manic Panic High Voltage Gloss (Radioactive) ($12): Like the Manic Panic mascara, this was also a nice sized gloss. And I love the name. Makes me think of the song ;). This is a great color, it went on smooth and wasn’t sticky at all. I don’t know what else you could ask for? Ohh, the inside lid of this also lights up when you uncap it. I’m not sure what it’s for, but L and I got a kick out of it!
All totaled I came up with a value of $87.49 for the June Lip Factory, Inc. box. Considering that the box itself is only $22/month ($26/month if you are in Canada), it’s a great deal! I don’t know how Lip Factory, Inc. does it every month, but I think that the boxes are just getting better and better!

Manic Panic has been around for a while. Have you ever been in a hot topic? Hot Topic used to carry A LOT of manic panic stuff. I personally enjoyed their hair dye. Now that I think about it…. I think hot topic is the only place I have seen manic panic stuff.
Cool. I’m torn about getting a second sub box. I love ipsy which is the right mix of want and try. Very tempting.
I’ve only heard of Manic Panic for brightly hued hair dyes. They’re usually in Hot Topic and such.
Eeeeek! I have not got my Lip Factory box yet this month and I can hardly wait! Especially now that I have seen this! I LOVE Lip Factory. It is always one of my most favorite boxes! I hope it shows up tomorrow!!!!
I totally want some lash powder now! You should do a before/after/mascara only post for us.
Manic panic started as hair colors for punk kids in the 80’s. In the 90’s it was easier to find but not in the small towns I lived in. They did some goth makeup back in the day so the light is probably to put it on in a club. Reminds me of being 19 and my bright teal hair. 1994 was a good year!
I like this box and I am in Florida I can get it quick un like glossy box it tacks me 3 weeks to get :))
Manic Panic… We’ve still got a red jar of the hair dye in our bathroom left over from the more outrageous days of the hubby’s music career! My girls ask ALL the time if they can use it. My hair has been every color of the rainbow and I’m sure that’s their future, too! LOL!

Please do an update on that lash powder. Sounds interesting. I am wondering how one wouldn’t get it all up in their eyeballs also if it gloops up your mascara.
Which is your favorite beauty box for full-sized products?
I got that BeFine scrub in my very first Birchbox I believe… it’s greasy.. I dunno I thought I would love it but didn’t.
I want to try those Manic Panic products!
Manic Panic make some great cosmetics, I love their lipsticks and face powder, I am so pale and they make really light powder.
I am subscribed to the is box and I live in Australia.
I got my first lip factory box last week and loved, loved, loved it. It is definately going to be one of my monthly boxes. So much better than Birchbox for me. I rather have make up than a lot of hair products anyday. Waiting on Ipsy for next month to see if it is just as awesome. And although Julep is great and customer service is great. Do i really need all of that nail polish. Wanting to try wantable next and popsugar. Ugghh! Decisions!
