It’s the end of the month and that means it’s time to pick the favorites! Here are my top item subscription box items (I do try to pick from a variety of categories though) from October:

1. The Can’t Cook Book by Jessica Seinfeld (PopSugar): I just feel better having this in the kitchen.  It really breaks things down and makes it seem easy.  Sometimes I look at recipes and I don’t even know the terms they are using.  Never happens here.
2. Cloud b Dreamz To Go Octo – Bluee (Citrus Lane): Love this.  There’s nothing else I can say.  Both boys think this is so cool and I will never put WB to bed without it again.  I even brought it up-north with us this weekend.  Awesome gift idea.
3. Pet Qwerks Chevron Bear (Barkbox): I have been trying to talk Baxter and Buddy into playing super gently with this so that we have it forever.  This is one of the most adorable dog toys I have ever seen.  But I still think it’s a fox.
4. Noon Designs Pumpkin Spice Whipped Sugar Soap (Umba Box): Every time I use this in the shower I feel like I am at some fancy spa or hotel or something.  The consistency is like no other scrub I have used.  It’s fluffy.  But it works.
5. Gilded Age Double-Faced Cotton Scarf (Bespoke Post):  B would have ended up buying a new scarf for the season anyway, so this worked out perfect.
6. Boon Water Bugs (Googaro): The boys play with these every time they take a bath and even use the net outside of the bathtub.   I love that this doesn’t get moldy which is the worst thing about most bath toys.
7. Nioxin Diamax Treatment (September GLOSSYBOX): I haven’t been using this as often as I should, but I really feel like my hair has been looking better.
8. Pumpkin Meister Carving Kit (Fancy Food Box): I used this when I carved pumpkins with the boys the other day and my pumpkin was cleaned out in a jiffy.  L was seriously impressed.  I didn’t tell him it was the fancy tools I was using. I just let him think it was me ;).
9. Gorjana Canary Scarf (Fall FabFitFun): Love this scarf.  It’s at the front of my scarf rotation this season and I grab it whenever I remember.  It’s a lot more scarf than it appears to be all folded up.
~Parents Night Out Pad (Parenthood Survival Box):  I just love all these note pads by Knock Knock box.  Who thinks of these things?  I love them!

That’s it!  Those are my picks for my favorite October Subscription Box items!  It’s always so hard to pick because I get so many great goodies. What were your favorites from October?  I’d love to hear!

Spread the love

We’ve been so busy I haven’t been able to use any of the Glossy Box stuff but I think I’ll love it all. I give props to the Bijoux Box folks for so quickly replacing the necklace that arrived broken but I haven’t worn either piece yet. Love the cookbook that came with the PopSugar box but haven’t cooked from it yet. But the one thing I HAVE used that came from PopSugar was the Julep Purple (Mille-Boho Glam) nail polish and Top coat. Love love love the color, have had it on for several weeks and will be wearing it all winter! The top coat was fantastic too!

I love The Can’t Cook Book also! I’m an awful cook, nothing comes out edible. And with the additional pictures and including what utensils to use for every step I manage to make something we can actually eat. It’s exciting to not have to order take out after cooking a meal!!!
