Ahhhh! I was hoping that my Special Edition PopSugar Must Have Holiday for Her Box would arrive today and it did! Maybe this is my reward for all those special edition boxes that have taken forever to arrive? Whatever it is, I love it.
PopSugar ships via FedEx Smart Post and usually takes about a week to arrive. This box though only took six days. It felt super early though because most people haven’t gotten their box yet (we only just found out spoilers on it last night). Plus, it appeared randomly on my porch (which a bunch of other boxes) this morning before the actual mail came. I think I had SO many packages she dropped them off first for some room on her truck 😉
This Special Edition Box was much smaller than the other ones we have received. I’d say it was in the same size box as out normal monthly PopSugar boxes. Maybe a little bigger but not much!
I was this close to being spoiler free with this box! Not by choice of course though since even if I knew by box was coming in five minutes I’d still look at spoilers. The first look doesn’t show much since everything is all wrapped up, but it’s always fun to unwrap everything. And I could not get it unwrapped fast enough. I had paper flying everywhere. WB thought it was so fun.
The Holiday for Her Special Edition Box information card is a bit different than the standard information card PopSugar sends out. This one folds out lengthwise and just seems fancier you know? Per the information card, this box includes “stunning accessories to a life-changing planner that will help you start 2014 with your organization in check” and goes on to say that it includes “all the treats you never knew you needed”. ~Cuyana Elizabeth Infinity Scarf (Black) (colors may vary) ($65): OMG I love this. Like I love this. I could not be happier about this scarf. It’s freezing here in MI and sometimes you just need a cold weather scarf instead of a fancy fun scarf. And this scarf is beyond soft and no super heavy either. It’s made out of 100% baby alpaca (according to their website they get hot with all that fur, so this is a win for them too) and is seriously just amazing. LOVE. My pictures do it no justice!
Must Have Fashion
~Erickson Beamon Rocks Blondie Stone Bangle (~$75) (cannot locate exact style online). Meh. I’m not in love with this bracelet. Although it may work for a holiday party or something along those lines. It’s obviously not an everyday bracelet and isn’t intended to be one. It’s not totally horrible though and I do like it better than I liked the little bags they included in last years PopSugar Luxury Box.

~Lunares Cheese Paddle With Knife (Navy Blue) (colors may vary) ($69): I don’t know why, but I love this. I have a few cheese display things already, but I don’t care. This is cute. I am going to be all fancy and start using things like this for just B and I.
Must Have Beauty
~Tokyomilk by Margot Elena Body Soufflé (Scent: Chance) (scent may vary) ($40): I expected this to be strong and icky, but I quite like it. And this packaging? OMG to die for. This box / tin is actually what is what the lotion is in and you have to unscrew it to open it. Do not try to pull the lid off for 5 minutes like I tried to. It doesn’t work.

~Graphic Image 2014 Databook (Silver) (color may vary) ($70): I have my 2014 EC planner so this may end up in the gift pile. It’s got some different things though, so I don’t know, maybe I do need two? If I wrote all my plans in two places, maybe I would be sure never to miss anything?
Must Have Beauty
~Winks by George False Lash Compact (Fullness & Flare No. 2) (style may vary) ($28): I don’t love false eyelashes, but I know the perfect teenage girl who I am going to pass these along to. They seem to get good reviews at Nordstrom and at Birchbox, so I am guessing she’s going to be quite happy with these.

~Fatty Sundays Peppermint Crunch Dark Chocolate Covered Pretzels ($6.95): Yes! I have been wanting to try these and was hoping they’d magically appear at my house. And they did! And they are everything I hoped they would be.
All totaled I came up with a value of $353.95 for the PopSugar Must Have Special Edition Holiday for Her Box! This box retailed for $100 and is long sold out. I am super pleased with it. I LOVE that scarf and would never have discovered it otherwise. I feel like this was money well spent for sure.
If you haven’t received tracking for your box yet and you are wondering how on earth someone else received theirs but yours hasn’t even shipped yet, never fear. No one has gotten a shipping e-mail yet. But you can go into your PopSugar account and grab your “Subscription Number” for this box. And then go to FedEx and select “Track” and then in the drop down menu, select “Track by Reference“. Put your subscription number in for the reference number, plug in your zip code and leave all the other fields blank. You should be able to track your box this way! Works for all PopSugar boxes every month as well.

I’m not usually a Popsugar fan but I really love everything in this box!! Except for the cheese platter. it’s just not my style. But regardless, I’m regretting missing this one.

I’m really excited about this box. I use an identical calendar from Gallery Leather in silver metallic every year. Can’t wait to try Graphic Images’ version. The Lunares cheese tray is going to be a treat to take to friends’ houses with a nice appetizer. The cream, scarf and bracelet look wonderful too. They planned it just right for me!!! Plus I’ve always wanted to try nice falsies – so I’m thrilled to get those! I don’t think I will gift a thing.
I really loved it. I think I liked it better than last years box!
Ok, so I can’t wait to get my hands on the scarf! The Cheese thing will be gifted to my brother “the cheese fan”- everything else will be in the gift pile.

The scarf is great, although it’s a high of 80 degrees today…so perhaps I’ll have to plan a trip to a cooler place 🙂 Falsies don’t work on me but I have some girlfriends that would fight over them and I have a Coach planner that I refill yearly but I’m the planner would make a great gift….but who knows, once I get it in my hands…I may decide to switch!

I have not, but the card does say on some things (that I noted) that colors may vary! I actually haven’t really seen many boxes yet!
I ended up not getting this one, but I guess it was good for me because I’m only really liking the bracelet… I could give or take most of the other stuff. How often does PopSugar do limited edition boxes?

Member all those folks that complained about last years Special Box at Christmas? I like it better than this one. For some reason I either used or was able to really gift last years items. This year? I think most of them will be for me and if not, they won’t be things I can gift to my family or friends. Hmmm. Not a bad box and certainly a deal. And I’m going to LOVE that scarf! (could have used it when it was 28 degrees this morning!) But…meh on the box in general. Of course that won’t stop me from getting one again next year LOL

I got one. I thought the same thing, not so “me.” I got 10% off the next box (shipping error) so I’m going to see the next one. Some things from the box are growing one me – so maybe it’s doing what its supposed to and taking me out of my comfort zone – lol. The ear cuff is going to (of all people) my grandma. She’s the only one I know that wears them (and really pulls it off) – so not me. I can’t even try it.
Forgot to mention – it was definitely worth the $100 – just not my style. The value was there and it was excellently curated.
what color scarf did you get?
Oh – I was talking the Nina box – it didn’t have a scarf – it did have a stoll (spelling?) – but they were all the same fake fur.

I got the NM PopSugar Box, but was so scared by reviews from the LE box for her from Last year to purchase this one, but I wish I had because I think I would have loved it! 🙂 Maybe next year!

So this is my first of any popsugar boxes and can’t say I’m impressed. I got this light brownish colored scarf and a red cheese plate. The only thing I’m actually kinda liking is maybe the bracelet. I have no need for any of the other stuff. What a waste of $$$…=(

Finally got mine today and therefore could finally read this post! 🙂 I too am in love with the cheese paddle/knife. And I totally spent forever trying to pull the lid off the body souffle! Husband finally stepped in to help. I don’t love the falsies or the bangle, and I got the tan version of the scarf. Not my fave, but still pretty. Will be gifting several of these things!

I got the same planner, the cream scarf, the lotion in wisdom, the lashes in #01. I haven’t looked at the cheese platter because I plan to gift it. Overall I love this box. This bracelet had the opposite effect on me that the Dec. box one had. I didn’t love it by first photo, but once I tried it on I was really digging it.
I am not sure if I should say something about my scarf it has a loose string…already and I only tried it once. My Nov scarf started unraveling a bit (luckily I fixed it). I’m just not sure if I should contact customer service or just try to fix it (I’m afraid if I mess with it will come apart.) I guess if it comes apart when I try to cut the string I can just complain then.

So got mine. Not a fan. But I think it’s more that these are not “me” items, they’ll work fine for gifts and such but don’t really scream my name.
Love love love the scarf! So soft. Except I got an off-white one, not really a color I have in my wardrobe. I’ll have to gift it (that hurts!).
The bracelet was actually much better in person. I could rock that even for everyday wear! But alas, it’s a bit tight on my wrist (and I’m not this big wristed person I swear!) which for some reason a lot of the bracelets I get in Popsugar seem to be. Love it, but have to gift it.
Like the cheese plate (got the blue version) but it doesn’t fit with my things. I have several really nice marble and silver sort of “old timey” cheese servers and this is just too modern to fit in. Will have to gift it.
The body souffle is mine, all mine. And thank you for telling me it was a screw top or I would have spent an hour trying to get it open. Nice stuff.
$70 for a planner? I know it’s nice but…$70 for a planner? I’d gift it to someone but I’d be afraid they’d think it was just a regular planner and they’d toss it in the goodwill box!
So not into fake lashes normally, cuz I tend to be allergic to the glue. But I do want to try these. Hmmm…

Can’t wait to rock the eyelashes (hopefully I can put them on – I’ve had professional semi-permanent falsies before, but never put them on myself)
Planner – already in my purse. I agree – no idea on the $70 price tag, doesn’t seem that special to me – but I’ll use it 🙂 I’d be scared to gift just like Mrs. L – I’d be afraid they thought I was re-gifting a gift the bank gave me and they’d send to Goodwill 🙂

My thoughts on this box!:
Scarf in off-white color: nice and warm, wearable, but I prefer thicker, textured knit scarves
Stone bangle: so lovely, fits my style, could be a nice touch to a simple outfit or worn to a formal event
Cheese paddle and knife in navy blue: umm, wasn’t really happy this was in the box at first, but I do have a potluck with the girls coming up and I saw a suggestion in the comments that it could make a nice appetizer plate so I’m happy
Body Souffle in Wisdom: WOW, weighs a ton and feels fancy, fell in love with the light alluring fragrance, this item made this box a winner for me.
Planner: who needs a planner these days? everything is either stored electronically in a phone calendar/reminder apps or in my head, I’m sad that I have no use for this item.
Lash and glue set: ehh, I could get any decent set at a drugstore, no need for a fancy set, nothing special here
Peppermint Dark Chocolate Pretzels: tasty but too much on the minty side.
The bracelet and lotion were my favorites =)

Hey just a quick question on trading/buying etiquette here. So I’m thinking of mostly selling off my stuff of the LE Popsugar box so how does the pricing go? Like the planner is valued at $70 and I’m cool with selling it for $50 so is that ok? BC for a trade you would do a match up for something of similar value no? I’m just not sure if ppl are willing to may even my version of markdown prices so just curious of how these things work. I’m not really looking to trade and re-gifting is kinda weird for me, like how do you give some a pair of fake eyelashes??? loll..Thanks for your time =)
I mean I guess it would be whatever someone is willing to pay or to trade for it? You can sell it for $20 or $50 or $70 or whatever you want. A lot of people seem to cut the price in half when they sell stuff like that since they didn’t pay full price for it either. But again, it you want to sell it for $50 and someone is willing to pay $50 then that’s perfect!

I received the scarf in cream, the cheese board with a red handle and the lotion in wisdom. I love the packaging of the lotion and it smells scrumptious. Not a fan of the bracelet and I don’t like mint. Overall I loved the box and can’t believe the retail prices on some of these items.
