The Boxes

I received both the December 2013 and January 2014 boxes to review, so mine came in a larger outer box with the two pink (fun!) From the Lab boxes inside!

December 2013 From the Lab

~Face Cream No. 594 (estimated retail value $150+):  This cream is suppose to diminish wrinkles, lines and age spots within weeks.  It has “Neodermyl” in it which has been introduced in Europe, but isn’t available in the states yet.  I started using it right away and I already love it. I haven’t seen a huge difference yet (it hasn’t even been a week), but I can see something happening.  The only thing is, where will I get more of this when I am out??  Actually wait, it doesn’t matter because I wouldn’t be able to afford $150 face cream anyway.  It’s amazing now though.  ETA: From the Lab e-mailed me and told me that subscribers CAN buy more of all of the items featured in the boxes for $29.95 each!  You can see all the products available here, but you have to be a subscriber to purchase.

January 2014 From the Lab

~Renewing Beauty Elixir No. 602 and Renewing Eye Serum No. 603 (estimated retail $165+):  These products contain “Nicotiana sylvestris stem cell peptides” which are suppose to improve skin tone, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and strengthen skin to prevent future damage.  There is a lot more too it, but you get the idea!  I am going to start using these after I run out of my face cream from the December box and I am looking forward to it.

Both the December and January From the Lab boxes had products with suggested retail values of over $150 in then, which is obviously insane considering that the boxes are $29.95 per month.  Plus, of course, this is an amazing way to try out new products that you can’t try out anywhere else!  According to From the Lab, these items won’t be in stores for at least 18 months, so you will be one of the few out there that has these!  Oh, I should also mention that the information cards have all of the ingredients listed, so if you are worried about what’s in them, you will know.

Ahh! I almost thought that was the Feb. Popsugar box at first glance, and I had to turn away! (I know, those won’t be here for a little while still.)

  2. Wow!!! Such a cool box. I’m a skin care fanatic, so this is totally up my alley. Although, you bring up a good point… what do you do if you love something and once you run out of it, just can’t bring yourself to spend $150 on a product? Oy.
