Yay! My March 2014 PopSugar Must Have Box is (finally) here! I swear, even though I knew what was in the box, it was so hard to wait for this one to arrive.
If you aren’t familiar with PopSugar Must Have Box they send a hand-selected box full of must have products and premium items in beauty, fashion, home, fitness and food. Boxes are $39.95/month and currently ship only to the United States.
PopSugar ships via FedEx Smart Post. It starts out as FedEx and ends up being delivered by the Postal Service. It’s not the fastest shipping method out there, but I have come to expect that my boxes will take about a week to arrive.
Of course I knew what was in this box (I stalk like crazy for spoilers every month), but it’s always fun to get my hands on the actual box and check everything out in person.
The March 2014 PopSugar Must Have Box included products which are all about new beginnings – new foods to get health, new skin care finds and new accessories for organizing your jewelry. Here is what was inside:
Must Have Fashion
~Brokedown IKAT Scarf ($72): LOVE! I think that the September 2012 PopSugar Box that featured the grey Brokedown scarf is what totally sealed my PopSugar addiction. And I think this scarf is even better. I love the pattern, the colors, everything. So so pretty. And I gotta know, if you happened to see someone out wearing this scarf or any one of the scarves we’ve received in PopSugar, do you ask if they got it from PS? Or are you worried they will think you are crazy? Depending on my mood, I’d probably ask ;)!
Must Have Beauty
~Jurlique Herbal Recovery Advanced Serum ($30): We received a serum last month and I just bought the RoC serum yesterday, but that’s okay. I will either pass this along to a friend or I will save it for when I run out of the current stuff I am using. Jerlique is a new brand to me and is supposed to leave “skin visibly glowing, hydrated and younger-looking.” Sounds good to me.
Must Have Fashion
~Dogeared Lucky Horseshoe Necklace ($28): I believe that I have owned a few Dogeared pieces over the years but I am not sure what happened to them? You make a wish before putting on the necklace and when the necklace wears off, you’re ready for your wish to come true. The horseshoe is on a silk thread so it eventually will wear off and then you can save the charm for good luck.
Must Have Home
~BaubleBar Elephant Ring Tree Holder ($12): Oddly enough, I think that this is my favorite item in the box. I absolutely love it. It’s adorable and I want to put it in my office (I take my rings off in various places at various times) because I want to be able to look at it all the time. So stinkin cute.
Must Have Fitness
~Mini Stability Excercise Ball ($9.95): I’d like to say that I will be using this for its intended purpose and maybe one day I will. However, I think right now the kids will end up playing with this in their bounce house / ball pit in the basement.
Must Have Food
~Snappea Crisps (~$3): These have appeared in a few boxes and the first time they arrived I was like yeah, that’s not happening. But I tried them and guess what? They are good! And I have bought them at Kroger on my own because I liked them so much.
Special Extra
~Nature’s Bakery Fig Bar ($1): We all love these around here. We’ll see who gets to this one first. I am guessing it will be B.
All totaled I came up with a value of $155.95 for the March 2014 PopSugar Box, which of course is well in excess of the $39.95 monthly price tag on this box! The general consensus this month is that this box is fabulous and I totally agree. I kind of wish I would have waited a month to do the “What’s been your favorite PopSugar Box” poll to see where this one would have ranked!

Those snapea crisps are actually SO freaking good. I’ve tried a few of the other flavors, but the original lightly salted are the best (don’t get the wasabi, just a heads up :P). The scarf is also gorgeous!

I’ve been holding out for PopSugar to make me extra excited again and they did it this month! The scarf is amazing. I wore it yesterday and although, I’m in Florida and it was fairly warm out, the fabric is so soft and lightweight, I never felt hot. I also adored the ring holder. The serum in the Feb. Popsugar made my skin feel a bit oily but the serum in this month’s box was perfect! A win for sure!!

I’ve tried the Snappeas when they came in a Love With Food box. To me they are just okay because I never really liked puffed snacks. But my son loved them! They are great toddler snacks!

Not a bad box at all. Not my favorite as a whole but I will keep and use everything in it.
Seriously, the Fig Bar rocked! Only 110 calories and 20 grams of carbs makes it a great pre-workout snack. I will be looking for these! And yes, it actually was my favorite thing. Unexpected.
The scarf was amazing. I actually gave away the first one (09/12) because the color wasn’t me (my Aunt loves it). But this one? So me! Love Love Love. And it’s a scarf I think I can wear all year round. I actually almost bought the elephant at Bed, Bath and Beyond last year so really glad about that. I use any and all serums I get so no problem there. Never had a Dogeared Necklace so that will be fun. And I’m looking forward to trying the Snappea Crisps (always looking for decent snacks to have in my desk at work).
All in all, not a bad box, but the scarf definitely makes it.

I totally adored this box; I’ve been thinking about canceling (~$480/year) but I might just make this The Box. The favorite: the scarf! It feels like spring scarfs are supposed to feel like-soft, cuddly, and mhm just a little bit warm. The elephant and the exercise ball came in close second. The only thing I’m kinda bleh about is the necklace–I just don’t do horseshoes 😉 I’m sure I know someone who will love it though 🙂

I think the Brokedown scarf is seriously fabulous this month! While I continue to salivate over a subscription and don’t yet have one of my own, I love to see that they include longterm “keeper” items, and especially when those items are as awesome as this one. This is what makes Pop Sugar an investment, instead of being just another subscription full of lovely, yet experation-dated items.
