1. L got his backordered Minecraft book from the Book Fair and has moved my Minecraft on the iPad to Minecraft on the computer.  He’s addicted and I still don’t get it.  However, he is super excited to learn to read so he can learn all these secret Minecraft tricks, so I’m down for it.

2. OUTSIDE!  We got to play outside three days this week.  I think I’ve been outside more this week than I was the entire winter.

3. This was a Plated meal from last week, but it looked so perfect that I had to include it here.  This was also the meal that B was looking for chopsticks for.

4. My SIL sent over some goodies this week and in the bag were two fabulous Santa hats!  You don’t think I could wait till next year to test them out do you?  I think not!

5. Sweet WB.  And L’s”little doggy”.  I have never met a baby more excited to go to bed than this guy.  He RUNS upstairs when I announce it’s bedtime.  Sometimes he plays in his crib and talks to his toys for a while and other times he goes right to bed.  But he’s always extra happy when L gives him little doggy to sleep with.

6. He does not understand the idea behind rubber stamps, but he totally enjoyed playing with them!  Also rubber stamps are “tampons” in french.  Just thought you should know that.

7. Don’t let that face fool you.  He had a good time at the Tigers Opening Day this year!  He spent 3+ hours outside in the sun on a weekday.  What’s not to enjoy there?

8.  WB goes Krogering with me and is usually rewarded with whatever samples they have out at the time (except the booze samples – I don’t let him have those) and this week they had cake samples!  At 8am!  He hit the jackpot!

9. And finally, my cousin(s) are in Florida right now and were going to Downtown Disney and were looking for suggestions on what to do there.  Umm, go and get grab bags of course!  So they did!!  I think they got some great ones and I cannot wait to go there this summer and get one myself!

How was your week?  Any big highlights??

Oh my I had no idea about rubber stamps. That is too funny.
Those are awesome grab bags. Now that you say that I just remember I had a fellow agent grab me one while down there. I need to get intouch with her to get it sent up to me. So excited now.

    1. Jennifer

Ahhh, I can’t wait to see what you get!!!

  2. Marietta

Wait. What’s this about grab bags? We go to Disney this summer, as well. Where do I get it, and how much are they?

    Thanks!

    1. Jennifer

LOL! They are at Downtown Disney at a store called “Marketplace Fun Finds”. I believe these were $11.95!

The minecraft book was so popular it sold out at our bookfair! Had to put our name on the huge waiting list, lol. I dont get it either but the boys love it!

    1. Jennifer

OMG I am cracking up! We had to get on the waiting list too. They sold out at the actual book fair here too. So funny!

I am totally about to boycott my Kroger! They very rarely have samples and never have I been anywhere (other than a vineyard) that give free samples of booze!

    1. Jennifer

OMG really? Come to my Kroger. Samples everywhere. And there’s always a beer or wine or booze to sample!

  5. Ashley C.

My kids love Harris Teeter for the same reasons – they get to test out the samples they have out which are usually fruit, cheese, ham, etc. And then if they have behaved, they have cookies up front at the end of the registers for the kids, free of charge. They know at the mention of the name what they get rewarded with and are the best behaved ever!

    1. Jennifer

Ohh, we don’t have that! They are happy if they get a sticker!

  6. Jenn

I cannot believe Kroger gives out booze samples. My grocery store doesn’t even sell liquor, that requires a separate trip to the liquor store. So jealous!!

    1. Jennifer

Ha! Yes! We can get booze at the grocery store. One stop shopping.

  7. Mrs. L

My week was not fun. My assistant was on vacation. I think there should be a law against that. My alternator went out in my car (luckily I was able to get home and the car to the shop on batter power). And I didn’t get nearly enough wine in my system to compensate for those things.

    1. Jennifer

You will have to make up for that tonight!
