The Boodle Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of adorable accessories and beauty products that encourage girls of all ages (boxes are broken down into a 5-10 age group and a 11+ age group) to uncover new things and discover themselves in the process! This box is for the 11+ box.
The June The Boodle Box shipped via FedEx and arrived SO quickly! The FedEx shipping method isn’t their standard shipping method, but they used it this month as a gift for their earlier subscribers this month.
I am still fairly obsessed with last month’s box (you can check out that review here) and wondered if this one could complete. But as soon as I opened this box up I knew it would be just as fabulous!
The June 2014 The Boodle Box theme was “Get Pedi Ready” and included the following awesome products to flip over:
~Katy Perry Meow Solid Perfume Locket ($35): OMG I didn’t even know these still existed! I used to have a perfume locket and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. I don’t remember what mine looked like, but I am sure it wasn’t this cool at all. This smells amazing and I am really surprised at how much I like her scents. Oh and I saw this on a few sites for less than retail, but none were any I had heard of (I saw it on Amazon it some other companies fulfilled it), so I used the retail price from the card.
~Flip Flop 4 Piece Manicure Kit ($8): So cute! I would have loved this when I was a pre-teen / teen and I love this now! It’s a 4-piece manicure set and I was quite impressed that everything appeared to be nice quality.
~Ruby Wing “Crowd Surf” Color-Changing Nail Polish ($10): Totally love Ruby Wing polish! I have a few other shades that are great, but I think this one is the best of the bunch. I don’t think color changing polish existed when I was this age, but I would have loved it if it did.
~Flip Flop Bling Strips ($3.99): Okay, I had no idea such a thing existed. Why didn’t I know this? You can use the strips to decorate your favorite pair of flip-flops. Pure genius!
~Flip Flop Notepad & Stickie Set ($1): Didn’t I just mention yesterday how much I love flip-flops and flip-flop season? Way cuter than your average sticky notes for sure.
~Flip Flop Lip Gloss ($3.50): This is a citrus flavored lip gloss in probably the most adorable lip gloss container I have ever seen. I now want all the different patterns.
~Cosmetic Bag & Brush Holder ($12): This is designed as a bag for your makeup brushes, but I also think it would make a fun pen holder if you are into art or just like to have a bunch of different color pens.
All totaled I came up with a value of $73.49 for the June 2014 The Boodle Box. That’s using retail prices, but even if you would have used the current prices for some of the things, you’d still be WELL over the $29.99 cost of the box (it goes down to $19.99 if you want to do a 6-month subscription). I thought this box was amazing and if I had a daughter in the age brackets for this box, I would totally get it. And also, if I were in the age brackets for this box, I would for sure try to talk my mom into getting me this! I love it!

Confession:
I bought myself a 3 month sub to this box. I’m 34.
As an early subscriber, they sent me the first one free, and I can’t wait for this second one to get here tomorrow! Love the flip flop theme!
I don’t blame you one bit. This is so cute.
I ordered the 6 month subscription for my 9 year old daughter yesterday. She’s already asking if it’s arrived yet…she’s my mini me.
I can’t even blame her! It’s so cute!
I must be juvenile at heart because I love everything in this box. If this is going to be the norm for the 11+ plus box I wish I could afford to subscribe for myself.
You and me both! It’s like a mini PopSugar!
I went to order a Boodle Box for my daughters and saw they don’t ship to Guam. 🙁 I went on their Facebook and commented how I can’t wait to the military to finally send us back stateside so I can order these for my girls – and they are going to make an exception and ship to me (and all overseas military)!! My daughters and I are thrilled and immediately signed up for a six month subscription.
That is awesome! Your girls are going to love it!
