~Happy Thursday! Β L’s not quite done with school for the year, but we are so close I can feel it! Β Knowing there are only a few days left just has madeΒ all us pretty chipper in the mornings. Β Well, L and I anyway. Β WB just wants to sleep in. Β There is a movie night under the stars at his school on Friday night and the kids are signing each others yearbooks Friday as well, so we’ll have a fun end to the week.

~Did you see the Erin Condren video for the new planners? Β I am so curious to see how the interchangeable covers work that I will likely cave and order when the 18-month ones go on sale on the 12th. Β I really want to see what new cover designs they have which I hear we will learn about in the next few days!
~I’ve got so many subscription boxes still on there way to me this week it’s crazy! Β I am expecting PopSugar (June & the Summer Fun box), Fabletics, Birchbox Limited Edition: Modern Mermaid, Citrus Lane Mystery Box(es), Fancy Food Box, Julep Perfect Ten Mystery Box(es), Hamptons Lane, Five Four ClubΒ and PΓ€shBox to name a few! Β Mail timeΒ for the next dew days should be very fun.
~If you got the May GLOSSYBOX with the Bergdorf Goodman gift card in it, just a heads up that you can use it at Neiman Marcus as well. Β Am I the only one who didn’t know these places were related? Β Seriously. Β And of course, go through ebates to get 4% cash back at either store. Β Now that I know I can use my codes at Neimans I am thinking about getting something in the Beauty Department so I can get that free Camp Gorgeous Tote. Β Because we all know that’s what I need. More samples and tote bags ;).
~I totally cheated and took the easy way out of cooking this week and picked up some of the Perfect Fit MealsΒ at Kroger. Β My favorite is the Turkey Enchilada one, but most are pretty good. Β I looked at the map on their site and these things don’t seem to be available too many places outside of Texas. Β I have no idea what they are doing at my Kroger in MI, but I am happy about it.
~I am sure we’ve talked about this before, but do you and your spouse / SO go to bed at the same time? Β B and I do not (not even close) and it’s probably never going to happen because after he and the kids go to bed is mainly when I get my blog reviews written and I get my alone time in. Β But I am curious about everyone else! Β Do you go to bed at the same time? Β If not, who stays up later?

We both go to bed at the same time. He is like a bull in a China shop, so there’s no way I could go to bed and he could sneak in quietly. He’d walk into things. Turn the light on. Want to say hi. And then I’m wide awake. So I just complain until he comes to bed with me. Haha!
Ha!!! I barely know when B leaves in the morning. I don’t even hear his alarm anymore. It’s like I’ve tuned out that sound!
I am so happy that I stumbled across your blog! It’s helped me decide which boxes to buy. As a FT working mom of a 26 mth old boy and a 6 month old girl … I am SOOOOOO AN ONLINE SHOPPER! I don’t have time to fuss with store and kids and I am too attached to steal that time to go stopping without my bambinos! Thank you for sharing.
As for bed time … I also have 3 dogs that are very aware when anyone is not in their beds in our house, so…I have found it easier to just go to bed together, otherwise I am annoyed by my fur babies neurotic panting that the world is spinning on the wrong axis. However…my husband would close his eyes without me without a problem π

I ordered 3 Glossybox so I could justify getting more of the texturizing spray from Bergdorf. The extra boxes are gifts but they don’t need to know that there used to be a $25 gift card in them lol!

My fiance and I are college students, and I go to bed way later than he does when school is in session. But now that its summer, I’m always going to bed before he is! I think he is catching up on all of the video games he wasn’t able to play when in school. Lol!

J and I usually go to bed around the same time (give or take 30 minutes) but one of us – usually him – will stay awake reading or playing a video game or something in bed after the other goes to sleep. I like him being there while I go to sleep, but it’s weird for some reason when both of us are trying to go to sleep at the exact same time.
I can’t even remember the last time B and I went to bed at the same time??

I feel you because I think the exact same thing. Hopefully I don’t talk myself into staying up till 3am to order.
You know we will have it ordered by 12:02 like it’s the allure box and there going to sell out in minutes and we can’t breath unless we have this!! Lol ughhhh
We don’t go to bed at the same time either!! The kids go to bed and he heads down to his “man cave” and plays XBox, while I get to watch some tv (My DVR is literally full bc I only get to watch like an hour and a half of tv a day) and catch up on online stuff. He goes to bed around 1am -2am, while I go to bed about 11:30pm-12:30am. He works nights 3 nights a week so a lot of times he’s not here until 11pm anyways.
That makes sense. It would be hard to get home at 11 and go to bed like 30 minutes later!

I couldn’t be more excited!!!! I dont really NEED a new planner right now, because i have my erin condren thats good til the end of the year.. HOWEVER theres no way im going to be able to stop myself from buying one next week. EEK! And I have that pretty awesome 10th order coupon code waiting for me!! Sometimes C and I go to bed at the same time, but usually he’s up later. Like 2-3am later. Sometimes he gets caught up in his video games and then realizes it’s like 5am! I can’t do that. lol. I stay up past midnight/1am sometimes, but never any later than that unless I’m at the bars. It really depends though. Sometimes he works at 5am and goes to bed before me. Our schedules vary and so do our sleep schedules.
Totally the same her. We do not run on the same schedule. And would be really hard for one of us (me) to switch!
DH usually goes to bed first, as he’s a morning person while I’m more of a night owl. I go to be 2-3 hours later. Our dog is pretty good about it, as I have to go into the bedroom to get her for her last potty break, then she goes right back to sleep.
You know, I don’t think my husband is either a night owl or a morning person. I need to ask him…

I didn’t either until I read it somewhere. I was shocked!
I am usually in bed first because he does’t get off till 11pm and home around 1145pm. So I go to sleep first, but I have to get up early. However, on the days he is off, we go TO bed at the same time, but fall asleep at different times, my normally earlier. Sometimes we go to sleep at the same time, but rarely. Lol.
My boyfriend works nights, which is really tough sometimes — so we never go to bed at the same time!

Random, but your mention of Julep — have you Dover tried the Sinful Colors line? They’re on sale at Walgreens for 99 cents a pop for a few days; Consumer Reports just rated them one of the top polishes for wear! I bought a ton. I have two colors on now and no chips! Really vibrant colors, too. π

I need to find those Perfect Fit meals here! That’s pretty much exactly what I need right now, as we just got here and still have like three things in our fridge right now. My husband and I usually go to bed at the same time unless one of us has to stay up for school/work projects. I love that Neiman tote, but the idea of more boxes arriving is actually stressing me out with all the ones left to unpack! (Don’t tell my husband I said that…)

For about 7 years we went to bed at the same time – around 11ish. Then we had a baby and have never gone to sleep at the same time. Now he goes at 10:30 and I go between 12:30-1. Like you, those extra hours are when I do MY stuff (and my MY stuff, I mean blog, baby photo albums, picking up around the house, cloth diaper laundry, and pumping…so not even all fun stuff).
I totally get it!
Hubby gets up at 4am to go to work, sometimes I am just going to bed. He love me for it haha! That pic of your boys is just too danged cute..are those boys never not smiling? They seem like such happy little guys.
I immediately searched in my zip code for the Perfect Fit meal, alas none where I live. No Krogers either. Would love something convenient like this that is healthy as well to pick up on the nights I don’t want to cook.

I tried using the Bergdorf gift card we got online at Neiman & I guess they won’t let you because it’s an promotional gift card. I had to call customer service because I couldn’t understand why I got charged the full amount of my order… Sad day

Sometimes (v rarely, only when I’m extra tired) we go to bed at the same time, otherwise I usually go to bed an hour or so after him. the dog goes to bed w him though until I kick him out to make room for me so my spot is always preheated π
