You know the drill, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight!
~Ahh, this weekend was wild! My cousins from up-north came down and stayed with us, we got a ton of stuff done around the house and, of course, had a ton of fun! Oh and we got some new fish. It was quite a weekend.
~Our garage sale went awesome! We sold a ton of stuff and made a nice chunk of change towards our next vacation. And we also had a nice donation for the Salvation Army which was awesome. But I think the best part is that this stuff is no longer at our house. I think the majority of the sales came from the kids old clothes which I sold for $1/each. It moved quite well! A few people suggested that I sell them all on Craigslist or in a swap group on Facebook, but there were seriously just too many things. Way too many!
~I am still planning on starting the 10-Day Cleanse tomorrow and am kind of dreading it. LOL. Â I SOOOO need to do it, but I am just not overly excited about it. Next week at this time I will feel amazing though, so it will be worth it. Â And I bought a meal planning insert for my Erin Condren planner, so I am kind of excited to use that for this week!
~I found some really cute washi tape ($2.99 and $0.99) and some little tabs ($0.70) at TJ Maxx today! Â I bought my SIL a set too because she might be even more addicted to decorating her planner than I am. Â Seriously. Â And she’s gotten her brother’s girlfriend hooked, so it’s a total family affair now. We honestly talked about our planners and our latest Etsy sticker orders at dinner last night. Â While our husbands just shook their heads because they so don’t get it.
~Someone please tell me more about this show Gypsy Sisters on TLC? I have heard a few people talking about it and it sounds like it’s right up my alley. Do I need to be watching this?  Should I start tonight?
~Did anyone else pick up the new fall scents from Bath & Body Works this weekend while they were on sale for 2 for $22? I limited myself to just four, but I am kind of sort of wanting to order a few more tonight online. It’s Free Shipping, plus $10 off $30, plus 1.5% cash back ebates. It would probably be criminal not to take advantage of that!

Yea for you sale and so glad you sold so many kids clothes. I have sold at that price too especially the small stuff since it never seems to sale well no matter where you are. Did you end up pulling out some of the nicer stuff? If you want to get rid of all the rest of the stuff you could take a picture of the pile and put a price on the whole lot. Some lady who consignment sales will probably buy it all just to resale it but you would be rid of it. Not sure if a planned motherhood or unwed mothers home would take it or not. I’ve not gotten to trying to donate things like that yet but maybe another place to look to drop off.
Nope. I pulled nothing out! A friend of mine who just had a baby came over and picked through it all before I set it out, so she got a lot of good stuff. One lady bought an entire giant bin of stuff. I already donated the rest to the Salvation Army!
I just ordered 2 3-wick candles, 4 wallflower refills and a pumpkin wallflower night light. Just what I needed after last night’s little shopping trip. Did WB care that he didn’t get to sit with the big boys?

I’m not excited about the no coffee part of the cleanse. I agree with Jen about getting my money’s worth though. Plus if I do it now, the next one will be right before Thanksgiving, I’m thinking :).

I love these fall candles so much, its my favorite time of year!!! except for these I also liked banana bread pudding which I got two 3wicks and blackberry something one. And I need to get the tricolor one ASAP as soon as there’s a good deal for the weekend. we had 2 for $34.50 which isn’t really great so I passed. took some effort to do it tho 😀

I bought two of the 3-wick candles in some of the those frosted glass summer scents, plus six of the mini candles in new fall scents. Whoopsie. They also have these new adorable mini mason jar candles, but I didn’t get any because they were all dessert scents, and I’m not too big on those (unless it’s pumpkin-based!).
Ohh, I love the foodie scents! Actually I think I just love candles…

I have never been to the US yet, for now we have to save up to move from here so it isn’t an option until next year but they do have 2 for $24.5 and all the coupons often and I do have over $25-30 3wicks and numerous smaller ones so I am good for now, I’d need a car just to move all of my candles :)))

Thanks for the heads up about Bath & Body Works! I got sweet cinnamon pumpkin, pumpkin caramel latte, spiced pumpkin cider and sweater weather for $34! Can you tell I love pumpkin scents??
I was SO close to ending up with only pumpkin scents. I looked in my bag and realized I should probably try a different one this year!
“Gypsy Sisters” is like a train wreck you can’t stop looking at…love it! LOL Thursday there is a mini-marathon before the season premiere..set your DVR…. Netflix may even have past seasons to stream so you can get to know the family..so much drama! LOL
I watched a few episodes and I am hooked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So much drama.
They (the Stanley sisters/family) first appeared on “My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding” ..also as equally entertaining and drama filled! LOL
