BuddhiBox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a curated box of items to enhance your yoga practice and lifestyle. BuddhiBox is $30.95/month and each month you will receive 4-6 full and sample sized items that enrich mind, body, and soul. Items may includ healthy food, supplements, beauty products, and yoga accessories. BuddhiBox also offers a smaller box for $11.95/month which includes 2-3 product samples and coupons.
BuddhiBox ships via USPS on the 10th of the month (I received the December box early for my review). If you order by the 9th of the month, your box will ship on the 10th. Boxes generally take 2-3 days to arrive within the United States.
This was my first ever BuddhiBox, so I was curious to see what was inside. The actual BuddhiBox was inside of the larger outer box along with an item that was too big to fit. I always think it’s a good sign when there is too much to fit in one box.
The December 2014 BuddhiBox contained the following items:
~Barefoot Yoga Co Elastic Strap Mat ($3.75): Such a simple item, but it total genius. It holds your mat together so you can carry it with ease. I am going to start doing yoga again ASAP and I will be using this on my mat. It’s good for storage too!
~HASInspiration Savasana Eye Pillow ($14): Ahh, yes. I took it upon myself to test this out and it was nice to just relax and do nothing for a few minutes. It’s lightly scented with lavender and I love the print as well!
~Muuyu Live, Interactive Yoga ($20): I am generally not a big fan of online workouts, but this is really neat. It’s a virtual class, so you can see the teacher and the other students. So cool. Does anyone know if this is offered for any other workouts? Because I think it would be a great motivator knowing that there were actual people doing the same workout as you at the same time!
~AmaZing Grass Shaker Cup & Amazing Meal ($12): I recall trying this in the past and not loving it, but I will give it another try. I do love love love the design of this shaker cup. It’s the perfect size, looks easy to clean and isn’t going to make a mess.
~Yummi Yogi Cookie Cutters ($8.50): OMG how cute is this? I love it! They come in 5 different postures and I can’t wait to make cookies with it!
Bonus Item: Bear’s Beauty Handmade Deodorant ($1): This is chemical free and is crafted to work with your body. It also smells great!
~Bonus Item: Handmayde Happiness Loco Coco Lip Balm ($3): I can’t find this online, but it’s a great lip balm. Although, I am biased because I am a complete lip balm addict. I can never have enough.
All totaled I came up with a value of $62.25 for the December 2014 BuddhiBox. That’s double the cost of the box and I was impressed by the curation of this one and I really got the feeling that the owner of BuddhiBox believes in the items she sends!
