The Box

Yogi Surprise ships via USPS Priority Mail and, once shipped, takes just two days to arrive to me.  This month’s box was a bit later than normal due to a delay with one of their items.  On top of that, some of the boxes (mine included) got left behind at the warehouse and weren’t shipped when all the other boxes were. Hopefully next month they are back on track.

First Look

Yogi Surprise is designed for yoga enthusiasts, but I don’t think you need to be a yoga junkie to enjoy them at all.  They have a good mixture of items most anyone can enjoy.

The Information Card

The March 2015 Yogi Surprise theme was “An Ode to Spring” and included the following items:

~Namtso Healing Incense ($4): This is handmade with Tibetan herbs chosen for stress relief.  It’s recommended you open up all the windows of your home when you use this to get the air circulating well.  As soon as it is warm enough to open all the windows in my house this is on.  It’s not as strong in scent as a lot of other incense and I really like it.

~“Whispers of the Trees” Nature CD ($15.95): The information card lists this as a $27 value, but that seems REALLY high for a CD.  I found it on a few sites for about $15, so that’s the price I went with.  I’m not totally sure what I will use this for because I don’t own a CD player.  I do have one in my car, but when I put it in there, it made me want to fall asleep, so the car probably isn’t the best place for this.

~Gone Nuts White Chocolate Cacao ($4.99): I saw these described as being similar to a white chocolate chips cookie, but I am not sure about that.  They are better than I thought they’d be, but I don’t know that I would buy more.

~Rad Roller ($24.99): I love this.  I woke up this morning with such a sore neck and immediately thought of this.  I still don’t feel 100%, but I feel way better.  I suspect this will be one of my March favorite subscription box items.

~Gaiam Yoga Clutch ($6.99): This works well to hold your mat spray, a lip balm, your phone and whatever else you don’t want to get lost in your yoga bag.

~Buddha Chocolate Double Almond Cups ($5): These are non-GMO and 100% vegan.  And I loved them.  B saw them on the counter and tried one and was not as big of a fan as I am though.  He made quite a face when he tried them.  But I thought they were awesome.  They weren’t Reese’s peanut butter cups or anything, but they were good.

All totaled I came up with a value of $61.92 for the March 2015 Yogi Surprise.  I liked this box and found a few new favorites in it, but it wasn’t my favorite Yogi Surprise box to date.
