First Look

This is the first Hermosa Box I have ever received and I am not overly familiar with their website so I didn’t really know what to except.  The first look had me loving it though.

The Information Card

The Hermosa Box information card includes the story behind the inspiration, creation, and manufacturing of each of the products in the box along with how to use them.  Here is what my April 2015 Hermosa Box included:

~Kauniste Muilla Mailla Bag ($20) and Pouch ($20): The print on these is totally fantastic.  Maybe the coolest tote and pouch I’ve ever received.  It’s made from 50% linen / 45% cotton and will be awesome at the beach and even for shopping if I don’t want to carry a purse.

~Stelton To Go Water ($27): There are a few things I am never sad to see in a subscription box and water bottles would be one of those things.  This one is sleek and modern and has a really cool top.  You click it open to drink and then click it closed to keep it from spilling.  At first I thought you need to take the entire lid off to drink, but not even.  I love it!

All totaled I came up with a value of $67 for the Hermosa Box.  I excepted the value to be a little higher, but had I purchased the items individually from Hermosa Design I would have had to pay a shipping fee of $15, so it actually makes the box a savings of $7. Plus I really loved the items I received so there’s that too.  I am going to watch Instagram for some other variations of this box because I’d love to see what other people receive for this one.

I love the items in there, but I think the price point is a bit high. Also, they state the value is between $80 and $100 which it doesn’t appear to be… But maybe they’re just getting started. The items are great though!

    1. Customer Support

Your point about the value is valid, the only comment we have is that we are just getting started and sent a whole bunch of these boxes to bloggers and reviewers to get feedback for a variety of product types, and it was difficult to make the $80-$100 value work each time. If you are interested in the box that April’s subscribers received, please check out the sample on our site and rest assured the value is over $80 🙂

I like the items in the review and that it is bi-monthly.
