Kloverbox, who kindly sent me this box for review, is a great way to try premium, all-natural and organic products for beauty, health, nutrition and convenience. Each month you will receive 6-8 premium products to sample, each from top brands and hand-picked by their health conscious curators. Boxes are $25/month and will have a value of a least double the cost of the box.
Kloverbox ships via USPS Priority Mail – generally between the 15th and 18th of the month. Like last month, this month’s shipment was a bit delayed.
The dividers in this box were the first thing I noticed. It helps make sure nothing arrives damaged and allows them to use less packaging materials I am sure.
The July 2015 Kloverbox theme was “Cause for Celebration” and included the following items to help celebrate Kloverbox‘s first birthday:
~Ellison’s Organics – 3-Free Nail Lacquer (Kaptivating Koral) ($12): This polish – a bright metallic coral-pink hue, was created just for Kloverbox. The color is great and the card is right, it will look great with sun kissed skin.
~Praerie Botanicals – Tonka Body Balm ($20): This balm is amazing. It’s got the texture of lotion – maybe a little thicker, but it’s not a solid either. The Brazilian Tonka bean oil acts as an optical brightener and reduces the appearance of uneven skin tone and age spots. This is a great idea for summer and would be idea for a sleeveless top on a night out.
~Previse Skincare – SunSheer SPF 30 Sunscreen Moisturizer ($36): Wow, I didn’t expect this to be so expensive! It was crafted to block UVA and UVB radiation and includes multi-action antioxidants and licorice root to boost hydration. I can always use more sunscreen and this a fantastic one.
~FlutterFly Scrubs – French Vanilla Pear ($8.95): This scrub comes in lots of different scents and Kloverbox sent out six different scents (all of which sound great). It’s made from the the best natural ingredients and smells awesome. It’s the perfect consistency. Not too solid, but not too soft and runny either. It’s just right.
All totaled I came up with a value of $76.95 for the July 2015 Kloverbox. I didn’t love it quite as much as I loved last month’s box, but it was a solid month and the value was great!

It was my first month, and I have to say I was a bit bummed with the delay…I wasn’t overjoyed by the box either. For some reason I remember the boxes typically having an item that wasn’t just bath & body, but this one was just that. I wouldn’t have purchased a single one of these items on my own – I don’t hate them, though.
I’m really hoping that next month wows me, because this was underwhelming.
