I went into this box totally unspoiled. I’d say that I am “unspoiled” for this one about 20% of the time, so this was rare.
The July 2015 Yogi Surprise box theme was “Salute to the Sun” and included the following items:
~Zhena’s Gypsy Tea Green Coconut Chai ($6.99): This tea is organic, gluten-free and fair trade and is inspired by the home of Yoga – India. This will go in the giveaway pile since (as you know) I don’t like tea. I do expect to receive it in subscription boxes like this one though and I know people love it, so no big deal.
~Gaiam Dual-Grip Headband ($7.39): This is exactly the kind of headband I would buy for myself so I love it. I actually bought a similar double grip one from Target a few weeks ago. It’s a fun color and it stayed on my head nicely.
~Aura Cacia Sweet Orange & Peppermint Organic Yoga Mist ($9.99): This contains purified water and organic essential oils and smells fabulous. I don’t know that I have ever thought or mixing orange and peppermint, but it’s surprisingly nice. You can spray it on your face, neck, torso or on your mat itself. Anywhere you feel like you need it really. It’s supposed to help motivate and create a more focused yoga session.
~Acure Cell Stimulating Facial Mask ($12.99): Acure makes amazing products. This was realized as a spoiler for this box and I was immediately excited. The mask purifies and cleanses and is a “best of natural” 2015 award winning product. They sell the Accure line at Target now and if you haven’t tried it yet, I highly recommend checking it out!
~Adjustable Tiger’s Eye Bracelet with Buddha Charm ($54): The information card lists this at $54, but I am not so sure about that? It appears that they sell for well less than half of that on etsy so I don’t know what makes this one a $54 bracelet. Don’t get my wrong, I like the bracelet and the meaning behind it, but I am not sure about that price.
All totaled the July 2015 Yogi Surprise has a (stated) value of $91.36. That’s using the $54 bracelet price though which I don’t really understand. I liked this box and will use everything in it, but I wasn’t wowed by it and I personally wouldn’t value it at $92. I did like it more than some of the other more “valuable” boxes though.
