Today was a great mail day and included the arrival of both of my Birchbox for CEW Limited Edition Boxes! I am going to start with my review on the Birchbox for CEW Prestige Headliners Beauty Collection box because it was the one I was most excited about opening. This box was $18 and is available while supplies last.
Birchbox ships via USPS and took just a few days to arrive. Birchbox for CEW boxes are released on an annual basis. I believe this is the 3rd year for them?
As usual with Birchbox everything was packaged neatly and looked great!
The Birchbox for CEW Prestige Headliners Beauty Collection included the following items which were winners or finalists in this years Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) Indisders’ Choice Beauty Awards:
~Benefit Cosmetics They’re Real! Push-Up Eye Liner! ($1.71): All I have been hearing about this eyeliner is fabulous things. Of course, since I don’t wear a lot of eyeliner, I wouldn’t have much to compare it to. It’s waterproof and the gel liner pen is said to apply super smoothly.
~COOLA SPF 50 Sport – Mango ($3.20): I know I have tried / used COOLA products in the past, but I can’t recall ever trying the Mango scent. It’s fantastic! It’s water resistant and sweat-proof and yes, it smells amazing. I used it this afternoon and loved it. It’s not greasy at all and blended it nicely.
~Fekkai Hair Fragrance Mist – Creme Vanillee ($3.88): OMG why is this the first time I have seen this? I love it. Like I am obsessed. It’s lightweight, makes your hair smell amazing and helps with static and shine. B and I went to the casino earlier this week and I SO could have used this. My hair STUNK like smoke and this could have have helped a ton. I think I have found a new holy grail!
~GLAMGLOW THIRSTYMUD Hydrating Treatment + POWERMUD Dualcleanse Treatment (~$10): GLAMGLOW is the best! This mask leaves your skin hydrated and feeling amazing. If you have never tried GLAMGLOW I recommended checking out one of their masks!
~Marula Pure Facial Oil ($7.80): I have never had much luck with argan oils on my skin, but maybe marula oil will be different. It is supposed to hydrate and sooth skin, while also smoothing the look of fine lines and wrinkles.
~NUDESTIX Lip/Cheek Pencil (BLUSH) ($24): The size we received in the CEW box is actually larger than the one shown online, however, I don’t know if that’s right so I just used the full-sized price. This works as a lip liner, lip color and cheek color in one. I am throwing this in my bag asap! The color is a perfect neutral and will work nicely for me.
All totaled I came up with an (estimated) value of $50.59 for the Birchbox for CEW Prestige Headliners Beauty Collection. That’s a great value for just $18 and I am very happy with it. I love that I found some new favorites in it! Wow it’s hard to pick just one thing, this box looks amazing! I think I’m going to have to say the benefit eyeliner because I’m in love with the “They’re real” Mascara and have been interested in trying the eyeliner. Although I’m also in love with Glamglow of course and anything vanilla or mango scented… and I just ran out of blush. Really this box is just perfect.
