Beauty Box 5 doesn’t generally release spoilers (although it has happened once or twice in the past), so opening this box up is pretty much a surprise!

The Information Card

The December 2015 Beauty Box 5 theme is “Smoking Season” and included the following items:

~OFRA Shimmer Eye Shadow (Millennium Bark) (4g) ($12): I have a lot of OFRA products, but I don’t believe I have ever received a refill from them!  I kind of like it.  The color is great (it’s brown with green undertones) and the lasted power was pretty good too.

~Beauty Box 5 Blender Brush ($10): This brush was created just for Beauty Box 5!  I’m not sure if you can see it, but it says “Just keep blending” on it.  The brush is firm, but not hard.  I really liked it and would;don’t be sad if BB5 did more brushes down the road.

~Prestige Cosmetics Total Intensity Eyeliner ($2.99): While I don’t generally wear eyeliner, I can say without hesitation that this lasts forever.  I tested it on my arm and then forgot about it until I woke up today.  Same exact line I drew was still there.  Even after I showered and tried to scrub it off – it was still there!  Invest in some eye make-up remover if you get this!  Note: I broke the tip on this when I opened it up – it didn’t come like that.

~The Beauty Shop Glamazon Stick ($22): Ohh, I love this highlighter crayon!  It’s shimmery and could be worn layered or alone for just a hint of color.  I love seeing The Beauty Shop pop up in subscription boxes!

~So Fresh So Clean Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes ($2.99): I was tempted to try this on my eyeliner, but I realized it doesn’t matter if it takes it off my arm because I wouldn’t use it on my eyes which is where eyeliner is!  The packing is fun and will come in handy to have around.

All totaled I came up with a value of $49.98 for the December 2015 Beauty Box 5.  That’s a great value for the cost and I am quite pleased with this month’s box. Beauty Box 5 tends to be hit or miss, but I thought this was a hit!

This was my first one (a gift) and I thought it was really nice. The eyeshadow being a refill kinda threw me though because I don’t have anything to put it in.
