Loot Crate is a monthly subscription box full of hand-picked, awesome geek and gamer products. Each month, for less than $20, you’ll receive 6-8 products which are guaranteed to have a value of $30 or more.
Loot Crate ships via FedEx Smart Post and took about a week to arrive. You can expect to receive this box around the 20th of the month.
I looked at the spoilers for this one online, but I have to admit, it looked more fun in person than I expected.
The December 2015 Loot Crate theme was Galaxy and included the following items: ~Exclusive Star Wars Han Solo Vinyl Bobble-Head: This is a Loot Crate exclusive bobblehead! I think I like it even better now that I have seen the movie and it’s going to make a great stocking stuffer for L!
~Exclusive Ugly Holiday Sweater T-Shirt: This is another Loot Crate exclusive! It’s not a sweater, but it could for sure be worn to an ugly sweater party. I actually really like it and probably would wear it to one.
~Exclusive Star Wars BB-8 Crew Socks: You guessed it, another Loot Crate exclusive! These socks are a complete trip. They might be too wild for even B to wear to work so I am going to keep them and wear them. I think BB-8 is my second favorite Star Wars character (the first being Chewbacca). Wait, I like the Ewoks too ;). They kind of look like Baxter.
~Exclusive Halo 5 Ammo Tin Box: Yep, it’s another Loot Crate exclusive! It was inspired by the UNSC ammo crate tins used by Spartan soldiers in the Halo gaming franchise. No one in our house plays Halo, but I know L will think it’s cool to hold books in or whatever.
~Exclusive Galaxy Quest Authentic Prop Replica Patch, Loot Crate Pin & Halo Supply Req. Pack: Also included in the box was an exclusive Galaxy Quest patch, the monthly Loot Crate pin and a Halo Supply Req. Pack. I don’t know exactly what the Halo Supply Req. Pack is, but we also don’t own an Xbox, so I didn’t look into it too much.
Since this entire box was Loot Crate exclusive items I wasn’t able to do a cost breakdown on it. But I loved it! It was fun and had a nice variety of items and franchises in it. I think this was one of my favorite Loot Crate boxes ever!
