Powered Geek Box (formerly known as PowerUp Box) is a monthly subscription service that includes geeky, gamer, and pop culture gear. The Powered Geek Box team goes around the country searching for the best gear there is to assure an epic box every month, every time. The Premium Box ($39.90/month) includes 6-9 items while the Deluxe Box ($26.90/month) includes 4-6 items and both boxes will include a t-shirt every month. I receive The Premium Box to review.

Powered Geek Box April 2016 Subscription Box Review

Powered Geek Box doesn’t curate around a theme, so you never know what you will receive. The April 2016 Powered Geek Box included the following items:

~Star Wars “May The Force Be With You” T-Shirt: I could take or leave the stripes on the sleeves, but I do like the design on the front. With May the 4th coming up we’ll be needing some more Star Wars shirts!

~Star Wars Coasters: Love these!  I think my brother might appreciate them more than I do though, so I am going to pass them on to him. He’s a big Star Wars fan and will get a ton of use out of these.

~Marvel Captain America Socks: These are labeled as Men’s Crew Socks, but I may just have to keep them myself because I think they are amazing! They seem almost like compression socks material wise (they don’t feel like regular cotton), but I think that’s what I love about them.

~POP! Pins Civil War Captain America: We have been getting quite a few POP! pins in subscription boxes lately and this one will be a nice addition.

~Star Wars Collapisble Water Bottle: I usually don’t love collapsible water bottles, but I am going to make an exception for this one.  I mean it’s Star Wars!  Plus, my 7 year-old will love that it hooks on his backpack.

~Star Wars C-3PO Vinyl Bobblehead: This is going to be another item for my brother. It would look good with my son’s other Funko POP! figures, but I know my brother would like it more.  As I mentioned he is really big into Star Wars and will love this.  I love that he’s got the red arm shown in the latest Star Wars too.

I couldn’t find prices for a lot of these items, but I really enjoyed the April 2016 Powered Geek Box.  It’s one of the best Geek / Gamer subscription boxes for our family because there is always something for everyone in it.
