BOXYCHARM May 2016 Subscription Box Review - "Spring Vibes"
The May 2016 BOXYCHARM theme was “Spring Vibes” and included the following:

~Makeup Geek Blush (Covet) ($15): This was sent out in a variety of shades, but I received Covet, which is a pink-ish peach shade.  It’s creamy and smooth and highly pigmented.  It blends super easily as well.

~Ella + Mila Nail Polish (Pistache) ($10.50): I was just meh on this color at first, but I have quickly fallen in love with it.  It’s a pale mint green and just SO pretty.  I briefly tested it on a nail and think I will need at least two coats, but I need at least two coats with 99% of the polishes I use, so that’s not a huge deal.  Ella + Mila polishes are vegan, cruelty-free and 5-Free, meaning they do not contain: Formaldehyde, Toluene, DiButyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor.

~The Brow Gal Clear Brow Gel ($20): Brow gel helps to seal and shape brows and holds in any pencils, powders you are using.  I must admit, other than tweezing or waxing I don’t do much with my brows.  They do sometimes get “bed head” so this will come in handy.
BOXYCHARM May 2016 Subscription Box Review - "Spring Vibes"
~Starlooks Luxe Lip Liner (Charmed) ($19.50): This liner is rich and creamy and while it looks like a pink online (in the StarLooks website), it’s actually more of a coral.

~PUR Double Ego-Duo Ended Eyeliner (Bora Bora) ($21): I found this easy to use and thought the liner applied very smoothly. I am not super into the blue though (or liner in general) though.  I do like that this is a 2-in-1 and feel like you can get a lot of different looks with this.
BOXYCHARM May 2016 Subscription Box Review - "Spring Vibes"
~Catherine Malandrino Romance de Provence Deluxe Mini Sprayer (10mL) ($20): Romance de Provence has “fruity nuances of pear and black currant” and, “at the heart, jasmine, rose and violet blossoms bloom on a gourmand base of vanilla, patchouli and tonka bean”.  It’s a little too strong for me at first, but once it dries it settled in to a much softer scent.

IMG_9092 (1)All totaled I came up with a value of $106 for the May 2016 BOXYCHARM.  The value was hgreat and I thought it was well worth the cost, but it wasn’t my favorite box from them.
