Loot Crate is a monthly subscription box full of hand-picked, awesome geek and gamer products. Each month, for less than $20, you’ll receive 6-8 products which are guaranteed to have a value of $30 or more.
Loot Crate ships via FedEx Smart Post and took about a week to arrive. You can expect to receive this box around the 20th of the month.
The May 2016 Loot Crate theme was “POWER” and included the following items:
~Hulk Q-Fig (Qmx): I think our first ever Q-Fig was the Deadpool one from a few months ago, but I like this one even better! Mainly becaise it’s The Hulk! Both of my boys think the hulk is the coolest and I think I hear “HULK SMASH” over a dozen times a day.
~Exclusive: Warcraft T-Shirt (Legendary): I am not at all familiar with the Warcraft video game / novels (this should come as a surprise to no one) so I had to do a little googling to find out more about this. The t-shirt is designed to let you channel your inner Horde or Alliance with an authentic, licensed silhouette design choosen to celebrate the film’s release (it comes out June 10th).
~Exclusive Dragon Ball Z Shenron Plush Keychain: This will be on my 8 year-old’s backpack in about two seconds. It has a little bit of glue stuck to the top (did anyone else have this issue) and while it’s not a huge deal to me I still wanted to mention it.
~Exclusive Infinity Gauntlet Oven Mitt: Does anyone “need” a glove like this? Probably not, but I love it! It protects your hands up to 500 degrees and will make baking cookies a lot more fun.
Loot Crate has so many exclusives that it’s impossible to do a cost breakdown. It’s always worth the cost though!
