BeautyFIX by DermStore is a monthly subscription box that features over $100 worth of beauty products, hand-selected by an elite team of beauty pros.

BeautyFIX ships via USPS at the beginning of each month.  My box didn’t show any movement for over a week (I had shipping troubles last month as well) so I contacted BeautyFIX, and they shipped another one out.  The first one did eventually show up, but it looked like it had gotten into a fight on its way to me.  And lost.  Some of the items inside were damaged, so I am glad I had already e-mailed them about it!

They always pack such amazing value into their boxes.

The August 2016 BeautyFIX included the following items:

~Danielle Creations Cork Pill Box ($14.99): This is amazing!  I have a hard time remembering if I have taken vitamins and prescriptions, so this is perfect.  It could also be used to store small jewelry items (rings, delicate necklaces, and earrings) for traveling.

~Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energizing Foaming Mask (0.16fl.oz) ($4.80): This gel-to-foam mask is designed for dull, devastated skin.  It goes on as a gel and then turns into a foam after about 5 minutes.  I  love masks that do something. Make my skin look great. Per the description this mask contains an “exclusive complex of EUK-134, fluid 02 and soy proteins convert existing free-radical damage into healthy oxygen and then carries that oxygen to cells to drive energy consumption and revitalize skin”.  I absolutely love this and plan on buying the full-size.

~Pangea Organics Facial Cream – Nigerian Ginger with Sweet Lavender & Thyme (1fl.oz) ($20): This is lightweight and absorbs quickly. It’s also gluten-free, paraben-free and vegan. I’m not used to having a scented moisturizer, but I’ll get used to it.

~Juice Beauty GREEN APPLE Peel Sensitive (2fl.oz) ($39): This is another favorite of mine. It’s like a spa treatment in a jar.  Nothing actually peels off (not the mask, not your skin) so don’t let the name scare you. It just leaves your skin feeling and looking amazing. It immediately left my skin softer and brighter.  Good stuff!

~Tocca Beauty Perfume (Simone) (~$1): Simone has top notes of crisp apple, fresh picked watermelon, lemon and calypsone, middle notes of frangipani, ylang-ylang, rose petals and freesia and base notes of creamy lactones, blonde woods, musk, amber, and nirvanolide. I’d describe it as a fruity scent with a hint of floral notes.  Very nice.

~Alterna Caviar CC Cream 10-in-1 (1fl.oz) ($20): This 10-in-1 leave-in treatment increases “smoothness, shine, strength and manageability while preventing UV damage, breakage, dryness, and frizz”.  It basically does it all.  It’s fantastic!

~Decleor Aromessence Neroli Hydrating Oil Serum (0.16fl.oz) ($23.36): This oil serum is 100% natural, paraben-free and made without mineral oils. It has a floral scent, and while I don’t love it on my face, I do like it on my neck and chest area.

~Vincent Longo Sex Lux Pax Trio Eyeshadow (full-size) ($30): This is gorgeous!  My swatch picture is MIA, but they are great neutrals (even the lavender) and can be applied wet or dry.  I wish there was a breakdown of the names of the individual shades somewhere, though.  I looked and looked and can’t find anything.

~Luzern Laboratories Force de Vie Pure Oxygen Creme Luxe (10mL) ($25): This cream works to diminish signs of lines, wrinkles and other surface imperfections. I actually did see immediate results when I used it.  Or at least I think I did!  The full-size is $150 which is way out of my budget, but I will happily use every drop of this sample.

All totaled the August 2016 BeautyFIX had a value of $178.15.  WOW!  Just wow.  I am blown away by the value of this one, and the high-quality products included inside.
