The Boodle Box (Two) October 2016 Subscription Box Review

The Boodle Box is a monthly subscription box full of adorable accessories and beauty products that encourage girls of all ages (boxes are broken down into a 5-10 age group and an 11+ age group) to uncover new things and discover themselves in the process! This box is for the 11+ age group (aka Boodle Box Two), but you don’t have to be a tween or teen to enjoy it.  I am well over that age and love it!

The Boodle Box ships via USPS. Boxes arrive at the very beginning of the month (or at the end of the previous month), which I love.

I say it every month, but I just love opening this box up!

The October 2016 The Boodle Box theme was “#emoji Madness” and included the following items:

~BOO to Bullying Swarovski Bracelet Duo ($13.50): These bracelets are one of a three-part coordinating bracelet stack to help say “BOO to bullying.”  The bracelets are gorgeous, and the message is even better.

~PREP Hey Honey Body Wash (~$10): I can’t find this on the PREP website, so I used the price on the information card.  PREP products are made using natural and simple ingredients and don’t contain any harsh chemicals.  This also smells amazing!

~ColorPop Hair Chalk ($6.99): You never know when you’ll need colored hair chalk, but when you do, you won’t be able to find it in store.  I have boys, so they don’t often need to (or want to) dye their hair, but once spirit week hits we will so need this!

~Rock Royalty Velvet Alanis Choker ($28): I LOVE that chokers are back in.  I was a big fan of these in the 90’s and wore them a ton.  This is perfect for fall and like the information card says it’s like Throwback Thursday every day.
The Boodle Box (Two) October 2016 Subscription Box Review

~Violent Lips Lavender Glitteratti ($7.99): This is like a temporary tattoo for your lips! Each package contains three lip appliques, and they are good for 4-8 hours each.  You can remove them with baby oil or mineral oil.  I love the idea of these for Halloween.  Maybe you don’t totally want to dress-up in costume, but want to still do something.  Well, you can use the purple hair chalk and this!

~Slashed Knotted Headband ($5.99): Super cute and would again go with your purple “costume.”  Or you can use it to hold back your hair when applying a mask or washing your face.

~Skull Lip Balm ($2.99): OMG love!  This is so me!  It’s a skull lip balm that will help you “banish bone dry lips.”

~McSteven’s Halloween Witch’s Brew Orange Hot Chocolate: Every Boodle Box also includes a little snack or treat.  This month was a fun orange hot chocolate.

All totaled I came up with a value of $75.46 for the October 2016 The Boodle Box. It was another cute month from them, and I don’t know that they have ever disappointed me!
