Bark Potty Subscription Box Review

Bark Potty is a monthly dog park in a box. It’s a convenient, clean, natural and disposable dog potty solution. It’s made of real bark, and like real grass contains the natural smells that compel dogs to “go”.

Bark Potty ships via FedEx Home and takes between one and five days to arrive.

Once you open up the outer packaging, you will see the actual Bark Potty box.

I found it a little hard to open up the “potty.”  The cardboard is thick (so nothing leaks through), so you need to use a little muscle.

On the side of the potty, there is a little opening with plastic bags to help you clean up the solids.

My Bark Potty came with a Pheromone Spray to help get my pet (Buddy) adjusted to using it.

Buddy and the Bark Potty

Buddy (my Yorkie) is an interesting case and didn’t quite “get” it.  He happily sat on it (and I thought he was going to lay down and take a nap), but he still hasn’t figure out what it’s for.  With the proper training he might get the hang of it, but he is stubborn (and was VERY difficult to house break) so maybe not?  I think it would be nice for someone with a puppy who is working on potty training. It’d also work well if you lived in an apartment.  Cruise ships also came to mind as they allow service dogs and it’s not like you can just quick run outside!

First of all ADORBZ! I might have to pin that first photo!
Second, um… IDK if I would want to train them to go in the house? Wouldn’t want to start a bad habit. Maybe it would go just outside, in a convenient covered area.

That’s a good idea! Maybe if you had an apartment with a balcony????
