Target Baby Box October 2016 Review

My Target Baby Box has arrived! The Target Baby Box was released on October 17th and was available for a few hours.  I can’t recall Target releasing a Baby Box in the past, but they do offer Beauty Boxes on a monthly basis.

From Target:
Score the best of all things Baby in Target’s Baby Box. This super-cute box has a little bit of everything, from shampoo to wipes to creams that help you care for your little one. There’s even a little something for you. Let’s call it well-deserved pampering. So, enjoy these samples (a $30 value!). If you like them as much as we do, you can find the full-sized versions at Target and Target.com/babybox.

Ohh, how I love this box!  The top was gold, and the bottom was white with gold polka dots.

It was packed full!

Target Baby Box October 2016 Review

The October 2016 Target Baby Box included the following items:

~SheaMoisture Baby Shampoo & Bath Milk (3.2fl.oz) ($2.46): This shampoo & bath milk has Provence Lavender Oil and Ylang Ylang to help your baby (or you) relax after a long day.  I love the scent and it will be using it daily on my 4 year-old who is still totally obsessed with taking baths.

~California Baby Calendula Cream (0.5oz) ($2.46): This lotion has a French lavender scent and is has fantastic healing powers.  I used this when my 4-year-old was a baby and it’s good stuff.  It’ll come in very handy this winter to heal dry chapped skin.

~Skinfix Gentle Eczema Balm (2oz) ($18.99): This is amazing for babies and everyone else who suffers from eczema.  It’s free from fragrance, soy, gluten, parabens and phthalates and contains only natural ingredients. It’s not greasy and will fix those dry itchy winter hands asap.

~The Honest Co. Wipes (10ct) ($0.99): I don’t care how old your baby / children are, wipes are essential! Honest wipes are durable (they don’t rip easily), chemical free and this size is perfect to keep in your bag.

~Dapple Pure ’n’ Clean Bottles & Dishes (3fl.oz) (~$0.50): When my children were younger I typically washed their bottles in the dishwasher.  Every once in a while though I would do a good hand washing of them to get those water spots off. That’s where this would have come in.  It’s also handy for traveling.  Sometimes you forget that bringing bottles also means you’ll need dish soap (it’s happened to me).

~Seventh Generation Coconut Care Lotion (Sample): This is a tiny sample, but it was big enough for me to tell how good it smelled.  I used it on my feet and they were instantly softer.

~Babyganics 3X Laundry Detergent (Sample):I have used this in the past and have been pleased with the results.  It relies on plant-based cleaning power and contains no optical brighteners, chlorine, phthalates, phosphates, artificial fragrances or dyes. When we get a new washer (or our washer magically starts working again) I will happily use this ;).

~Burt’s Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes (10 wipes) ($1.79): These were the mom item in this box.  I don’t know what mom doesn’t appreciate the invention of facial wipes. They left my skin feeling clean and contain no parabens, phthalates or petrolatum.

Target Baby Box October 2016 Review

All totaled I came up with a value of $27.19 for the October 2016 Target Baby Box.  That is a great value for $7 (shipping was free), and I can only hope that this becomes a monthly thing!

This box is now sold out, but I will post as soon as the next box goes on sale and I’ll also send out an e-mail to those on my e-mail list.

Spread the love

This is an amazing box! I’m so bummed that I missed it. Especially for the Skinfix. My daughter (10 months old) has horrible eczema. I’ll have to try that!

This is the best Target box yet and you certainly don’t have to have a baby to use the products.
