Mine Chest Review November 2016 Subscription Box
Mine Chest, the first official Minecraft subscription box, is a bundle of hand-picked, official, Minecraft goodies, delivered right to your doorstep every other month. Exactly what’s included is a closely-guarded secret, but expect an exclusive t-shirt, exclusive items, a premium collectible chest, a unique project, and a selection of official collectibles. It should be noted that Mine Chest has joined forces with Loot Crate and now ships bi-monthly instead of monthly. In addition, the price has increased from $36.99 to $39.99/box.

Mine Chest ships via USPS. They used to ship during the end of the month, but they now ship at the beginning of the month. Or they are supposed to anyway. The last few months have been shipping towards the end of the month, and I don’t think the November box shipped until December. Hopefully, all these shipping issues will get worked out because my boys get so anxious for this box.

This month’s box transformed into TNT block.

The November 2016 Mine Chest theme was “CREEPER” and included the following items:

~Minecraft TNT T-Shirt: Opening up this Mine Chest box was one of the first things we did after we got back from vacation.   My boys are 4 and 8, and they LOVE this box.  It’s serious business when Mine chest arrives.  Each month’s box includes a t-shirt, and I think this was one of the best so far.  It’s a TNT Creeper, and I suspect L (my 8-year-old will be wearing this to school tomorrow).

~Minechest Creeper Egg Sticker:  My 4-year-old always gets the stickers from Mine Chest boxes.  He has an old computer he plays Minecraft on and has the case filled up with stickers.

~TNT Stamp Block: Every Mine Chest so far has included a stamp and ink pad.  Mine was missing the ink pad this month, but we already a bunch, so it wasn’t a huge deal (I am not even going to contact them about it).  I’d love to see Mine Chest swap this with another item, but my boys are still happy getting them, so that’s all that matters.

~Minecraft Creeper Pin: Every Mine Chest has also included an exclusive pin.  We love these!  My little one likes to wear them on his shirts, but I have a better idea for them thanks to another item in this box.

~Mine Chest Backpack:  This backpack is where we can put all of our Mine Craft pins!  It’s a mini backpack – maybe about half the size of a standard one.  W wants to use it for school, but I don’t think it would hold all of his homework + lunch.  It’s just his size though and will be great for traveling and storing Minecraft collectibles, our stamps and more.
