Wantable Intimates Review - December 2016 Subscription Box

Wantable Intimates is a monthly intimates subscription service.  You will either receive three premium pieces of lingerie or 3 premium pieces of loungewear based on your profile preferences. They also offer makeup, fitness, style and accessories boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. Now you are even able to return just a portion of your box!  Wantable lists “Your Price” on the information card along with the “Retail Price” so you can easily determine the amount of credit you will receive if you opt to return items.  If you end up keeping your entire box, a credit of $4 will be posted to your account – making your next box $46.

I want to mention that Wantable increased their price from $40 per box to $50 per box about a year ago (those who subscribed before 10/24/15 which I did will keep the $40/month rate as long as they are subscribed). Also, boxes will now include three items as opposed to the previous 3-4 items. Wantable indicated that this is so that they can send you “a look” rather than just pieces.

I mention it every time, but you can totally customize your Wantable box.  You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing. Wantable has also launched the “My Stream” which includes product and customer photos of items from Wantable boxes. You can scroll through the images, and if you see something you love, you can request it in your next box.

My December 2016 Wantable Intimates Collection included the following items:

~Raw Hem Tank – Black (Retail Price: $34. Your Price: $12.88): Meh.  I am not much of a tank top wearer and the fit on this one was super unflattering on me.  It was boxy and the arm holes were unusually big.

~Rene Rofe Belinda Bikini (Retail Price: $10, Your Price: $3.79): These are great and I love the style.  It doesn’t show up well in pictures, but they are a grey / periwinkle type color.

~Weekend Fleece Joggers (Retail Price: $50. Your Price: $19.33): These were super cozy and warm!  Again not super flattering, but then again not too many pairs of sweats are.   I love the color on them and I found them to be true to size.

All totaled I came up with a value of $95 for my December 2016 Wantable box. This box was better than last month’s (which was a complete miss), but I still wasn’t in love and thought that, even with the discount, the shirt and sweats were too expensive.

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month? Have you tried either of the Edits (Fitness or Style)? If you are interested in signing up for Wantable, you can head here and check them out!

Spread the love
