This box looked just as impressive as it usually does.

The February 2017 Allure Beauty Box included the following items:

~First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads (10 Pads) ($5): These pads are used to exfoliate, tone and brighten skin.  I used them after washing my face and was amazed (in a bad way) about how much dirt was still left on my face.  They are alcohol-free and safe for sensitive skin.  They didn’t irritate my face and didn’t leave it feeling tight or dry, like some products of this nature do.

~Cargo Colorstick in Champagne (Full-Size) (0.25oz) ($20): This color is stunning!  You can put it on your cheekbones, brow bones or anywhere you need a little glow.  The information booklet is right when they say it has no shimmer.  It doesn’t.  It just gives you a fantastic natural glow.

~GrandeLips Hydrating Lip Plumper (No Size Listed) (~$9): Wait, where has this stuff been hiding??  It not only plumped my lips (my top lip is really thin, but this filled it nicely) but also left them moisturized and glossy.  Plus it smells like cake.  I didn’t feel anything immediately when I applied it, but after a minute or so, the tingling started.  It wasn’t crazy (I have used way worse), but I could for sure feel it.  The reviews on this at Sephora were mixed, but I give it two thumbs up.  If only it lasted longer!

~Beautycounter Lengthening Mascara (Full-Size) ($29): Meh.  This darkened my lashes but didn’t give me the amazing length or volume I look for in a mascara.  It is all-natural and doesn’t contain parabens, which I do appreciate.

~Red Flower Moroccan Rose Tea Light Candle ($2.50): I thought this was a somewhat odd addition to this box, but I am always happy to get a candle. It’s a “damask-rose oil and patchouli oil” scent.  It is a floral scent, but it’s not overwhelming.

~Olay EYES Pro-Retinol Eye Treatment (0.23oz) ($13.80): The final item in the box was the Olay EYES Pro-Retinol Eye Treatment.  You apply it at night and will have “visibly smoother, younger-looking eyes in the morning”.  I didn’t notice a huge (any) difference, but I’ll give it some more time.

All totaled the February 2017 Allure Beauty Box had a value of $79.30.  This box is well worth the $15, and I’ve found some new favorites thanks to this month’s box!
