Birchbox offers 4-6 (sometimes more) hand-picked beauty and lifestyle samples, delivered to your door each month. I have been subscribing to Birchbox for over four years now and would say they are one of the most (maybe the most) well-known subscription boxes out there. They are certainly one of the longest lasting boxes.
Ships To: United States.
Coupon Code: Subscription Box: See below.
Birchbox ships via USPS and all boxes generally ship by the 10th of the month.
This review is on the “Regular” March 2017 Birchbox. You can check out my review of the Birchbox “Pretty Mighty” Curated Box here. The curated box is still available in their shop for $15 ($10 for subscribers), or you could opt for it in place of your regular Birchbox this month.
My March 2017 Birchbox (there are tons of variations in boxes) included the following items:
~ARROW ENHANCE Waterproof Eyeliner + Brightener (0.8g) ($16): This is a “pearlescent pink liner” and when used on the corners on your eyes and the waterline will give you an instant pick-me-up. I don’t wear eyeliner, but this is actually eyeliner I will wear! It did seem to help my tired eyes.
~Beauty Protector Protect & Volume (No Size Listed) (~$4): Protect & Volume is a lightweight mist that gives you great volume and amazing shine. It also helps to protect against heat damage. To top it off, it smells great!
~Bioderma® Hydrabio H2O (20mL) ($0.67): Bioderma is fantastic! This is a no-rinse, hydrating makeup remover. It’s gentle, but it does the job.
~Coastal Scents® Revealed Smoky Palette (0.65g) (~$2): These colors are gorgeous, but I have no clue what the names are. It just says “two colors from the revealed smoke eye shadow palette” on the back. They are beautiful colors though and easy to blend.
~Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream (0.25fl.oz) ($4.04): I used to use this stuff all the time. I can’t remember why (probably because I had so many subscription box samples to use), but it never did my skin wrong. It’s rich, but it’s not at all greasy or heavy. Just a great moisturizer.
~R+Co DALLAS Thickening Shampoo & R+Co DALLAS Thickening Conditioner (Sample Packet) (~$2): The final item in the box was packets of R+Co DALLAS Thickening Shampoo & Conditioner. It’s good stuff, but these packets are small, so I will only get 1 (maybe 2) uses out of it.
All totaled my March 2017 Birchbox had a value of $28.71. Not a bad value, but this was just a meh box for me. I liked all the products well enough individually, but as a whole, the box didn’t knock my socks off.
Did you get Birchbox this month? What you’d get in your box and what’d you think?
