MissionCute Review - February 2017
MissionCute is a monthly subscription box full of cute stuff, but with a mission. Each MissionCute box comes with at least two items made by small-but-mighty artisans and local businesses.  Every month they also partner with a different nonprofit to help promote their mission.  50% of the net proceeds of each box are donated to the chosen (you can vote on it) monthly nonprofit and MissionCute also sponsors and works on a service project each month in their community.  The February 2017 MissionCute partner is “Angel Heart Pajama Project” which is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization that provides new pajamas and books to children in need.

The February 2017 MissionCute included the following items:

~Simoetta Spring Stripe Scarf ($18): This is fun, lightweight scarf!  Perfect for Spring and the colors in it are a fun change of pace.

~Dio Candle Company MissionCute Stars Hollow Candle ($4.50): The scent notes on this are “Apples + Cinnamon + Sookie’s Pies”.  It’s more of a fall scent in my opinion, but I will happily burn it while I am finishing up my last Gilmore Girls episode.

~Raspberry Mint Relax Babe Lavender Lime (~$21CAD / ~$16USD): This roll-on is 100% pure essential oils blended with coconut and grapeseed oil.  It’s supposed to be calming and is designed to help you relax.  It is formulated without artificial colors, fragrances, or synthetic preservatives and is cruelty-free.

~Eccolo “Amazing Ideas” Neon Notebook Calendar ($2):  This is so fun and bright! I LOVE it!  I always have a little notebook with me / near me, and I will never misplace this one.

~Whole Heart 5×7 Graphic Print ($9): I have a special frame in my office that I use just for MissionCute prints and this one will be in it soon.  I love the colors and the message of course ;).

All totaled I came up with a value of $49.50 for the February 2017 MissionCute box.  I did find everything to be “cute,” but I felt like it was missing something?  A beauty item of some sort maybe?

If you are interested in subscribing or just want to check out more about them / look at previous boxes, click here.  They also offer a Mini MissionCute box for $20/month which consists of 2-3 hand-curated items.  This may be a good option if you aren’t ready to try the full box.
