BarkBox does such an amazing job with their themes each month.  Everything fits together perfectly from the information card to the products to the interior packaging paper.

The April 2017 BarkBox theme was New York City (#pooyorkcity).  The card in the box had stickers on it this month. Buddy (Yorkie) and Buster (Teddy Bear) weren’t excited about this, but I was! Our Small BarkBox included the following items:

~The BarkPost ($10): OMG this is awesome!  I actually would read the BarkPost if it were a real newspaper.  This has a bunch of squeakers inside and perfectly fits the theme.  When Buster is done playing with this, he can also nap on it!

~Lady Liberty Ball ($8): This is a spiky soft plus ball inspired by Lady Liberty!  Fetch is all the rage in my house right now so this is great timing.  Hopefully, it doesn’t get too slimy ;).

~Best Treats Ever! Duck & Turkey Strips ($7): These all-natural, grain-free strips are entirely farmed and made in the USA. These are more than treats for my little guys – they are chews that last for hours!

~Nootie No Grainers NYC Jerky Bites ($8): These grain & gluten-free treats are made in the USA.  They are small and chewy, and the boys loved them!  Totally a perfect treat for my little guys.

~ettasays Premium Buffalo Chews (~$2): We are always happy to get these in subscription boxes. Both dogs love them, but I think Buster loves them even more.  They probably feel so good on his puppy teeth.

All totaled I came up with a value of $35 for the April 2017 BarkBox.  We loved this month and just all-around love BarkBox.

    1. Howloo JoAnn! Chance sounds like he likes to play alone, which is totally okay! We know each pup has their own preferences and we try to appeal to all types of play. We know he’d ruv being in the BarkBox pack!

Also, did you know that we have an allergy friendly option? That eliminates chicken, turkey, and beef so Chance won’t have to worry about getting treats he cannot have!

If you’d like to sign up for BarkBox, reach out to Lindz@BarkBox.com and we can help. Remember to use Jennifer’s code too 🙂 Give Chance extra belly rubs and let us know if we can help with anything!

  2. Howlooo Jennifer! Thank you so much for reviewing April’s BarkBox. It sounds like Poo York City was a hit in your dog house, fur Buster, Buddy, AND you! 🙂 Those stickers are so fun, and the BarkPost is a hoot! Did you know that we have BarkPost.com and our furry own BarkZine? You can sniff that out here: http://barkshop.com/items/barkzine-issue-2-january-2017-box

We hope that the Lady Liberty Ball doesn’t get too slimey.. but if so, it just means that it’s a pack favorite! We’d be happy to know we are sending out toys that your pack is drooling over. Give your pups extra belly rubs and we look forward to seeing more reviews from you all!
