~Good morning! What a fantastic weekend! The boys went to see The Smurfs with my parents on Saturday (they liked it, but not as much as Boss Baby) and B and I headed downtown for a day date. His birthday is next week, but he’ll be out of town so we decided to celebrate early. We had brunch at Townhouse, did some shopping / wandering around and then ended the afternoon at the casino. We left winners which was an added bonus. If you ever end up in Detroit and eat at Townhouse, get “The G.O.A.T.”. It’s (from the menu) Whipped Goat Cheese / Smashed Avocado / Honey / Pumpkin Seeds / Chili Flakes / Toasted Sourdough and is basically the best thing ever. So good!
~Did anyone catch Homeland last night? I don’t want to spoiler it, but I thought it was amazing and I hated it at the same time. I have no idea who is “good” and who is “bad” anymore either. I also have no idea when the next season starts, but I suspect I will be waiting quite a while to figure out what on earth is going on.
