Allure Beauty Box Review - May 2017
The May 2017 Allure Beauty Box included the following items:

~Skinfix Foaming Clay Cleanser (30mL) ($4.41): Skinfix’s Foaming Clay Cleansing is 99% natural and contains no fragrance, gluten, silicone, dairy, sulfates, parabens or phthalates. It’s thicker than most other cleansers, and I loved it!  I hope it pops up in another subscription box soon.

~Drunk Elephant Umbra Sheer Physical Defense SPF 30 (15mL) ($5): This broad spectrum sunscreen has SPF30 and minimizes the look of fine lines and wrinkles.  If I can get SPF protection and look less wrinkly at the same time, that’s a win!

~This Works Stress Check Breathe In (5mL) ($18.75): This is designed to refresh and calm your senses.  It’s a roll-on and is used whenever you feel like you need it.  Or before.  I think anything that helps you slow down and take a moment during a crazy day is great!

~Kneipp Body Oil (Relaxing Lavender) (20mL) ($4.40):  I didn’t find this body oil overly slippery, and the scent wasn’t overpowering.  It has high-quality essential lavender oil and a high percentage of natural, intensively caring plant oils.

~Doucce Freematic Eyeshadow in Jody ($8.75):  Allure sent a Doucce palette back in January 2017, and I believe this is the second individual shade (the first was in October 2016) they have sent. The palette, which is also currently being sent to new subscribers when they sign up, is magnetic, so you can swap out shades and personalize it to best fit you. Jody is a shimmery pink’ish lavender shade with amazing pigment.

~Luxie Rose Gold Tapered Blending Eye Brush 205 ($12): My box was missing the brush;(.  I don’t need another brush (I received this same brush in my May 2015 ipsy), however, I feel like I should let them know it was missing.  It’s a fluffy, super soft, blending brush that lets you evenly distribute color to your eyelids.

All totaled the May 2017 Allure Beauty Box had a value of $53.31.  This was another ho-hum box for me (although I did love seeing the Drunk Elephant brand), but June looks amazing!
