~Good morning! It’s the first week of school for the boys (4th grade for L and Kindergarten for W) and so far, so good.   L has a bunch of friends in his class which he is thrilled about and W just loves it all. Everyone is happy and that makes me happy.

~Have you seen the plans to update Target stores?  Oh my goodness does it look fantastic.  In the pictures, the beauty department looks even better than Sephora.  I am hoping that they roll this out in the Detroit area very soon.  Also, to continue the Target love, I feel like it’s important to mention they have just launched a line of $5 wines.  I haven’t tried them (yet), but I am going to try and find them over the weekend.  Ohh, I tried the HaloTop Candy Bar Crunch ice-cream.  It’s good!  I think it’s my favorite of all the HaloTop flavors I have tried so far!

~Cedar Point (B and L went on Monday – Labor Day) was a total success.  Going on Labor Day wasn’t the original plan, but it ended up working out great.  They got there when Cedar Point opened (it’s about a 3-hour drive from us) and their early arrival – combined with the Fast Pass Plus option was a dream.  They didn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes for anything and got to ride a ton of coasters in a short amount of time.  It may have been too many coasters because my husband was trying to talk L (he’s 9) into taking some breaks between the coasters, but L wasn’t having it!  L wants to make this (along with the Dunes) an annual event so we’ll be doing just that.

That’s it from here. Have a good weekend and to those in Irma’s path – STAY SAFE!!!

Spread the love
