Wantable Intimates Review - September 2017
Wantable Intimates is a monthly intimates subscription service.  You will either receive three premium pieces of lingerie or 3 premium pieces of loungewear based on your profile preferences. They also offer makeup, fitness and style boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. Now you are even able to return just a portion of your box!  Wantable lists “Your Price” on the information card along with the “Retail Price” so you can easily determine the amount of credit you will receive if you opt to return items.  If you end up keeping your entire box, a credit of $4 will be posted to your account – making your next box $46.

I want to mention that Wantable increased their price from $40 per box to $50 per box about a year ago (those who subscribed before 10/24/15 – which I did – will keep the $40/month rate as long as they are subscribed). Also, boxes will now include three items as opposed to the previous 3-4 items. Wantable indicated that this is so that they can send you “a look” rather than just pieces.

I mention it every time, but you can totally customize your Wantable box. You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you Love, some of the things you Like and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing. Wantable has also launched the “My Stream” which includes product and customer photos of items from Wantable boxes. You can scroll through the images, and if you see something you love, you can request it in your next box. They used to print your preferences on the information card, but it doesn’t look like they do this anymore.

My September 2017 Wantable Intimates included the following items:

~Tart Collection White Tank (Retail Price: $22, Your Price: $10.73): The information card describes this as the lounge piece, which is true.  However, I don’t think it’s supposed to be quite this wrinkled.  I never iron/steam any subscription box pieces before taking pictures, but I wanted to with this one so bad.  It’s like it was balled up wet and then just left to air dry.  I’d wash it before wearing it which would likely get the wrinkles out, but for a $50 box, I feel like the presentation should be better.

~Mina Lisa Drop Top Lounge Top (Lilac) (Retail Price: $30, Your Price: $14.63): This sweatshirt is so soft!  It’s described as a “weekender fleece, ” and I love it.  So cozy!

~Mina Lisa High Rose Drawstring Shorts (Lilac) (Retail Price: $30, Your Price: $14.63): These shorts are the same super soft material as the top above.  I don’t know if I have ever described shorts as cozy before, but that’s what these are.

All totaled my September 2017 Wantable Intimates had a value of $82.  I paid $40 for the box, so that’s double the cost, but I am not blown away by this one.  I do like each of the pieces, but I think they could add in another piece or two (socks, undies) to really make this subscription shine.  That said, there is no risk with this box (you can send it all back for a full refund), so I never regret subscribing!

Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or intimates) this month? Have you tried either of the Edits (Fitness or Style)? If you are interested in signing up for Wantable, you can head here and check them out!
