I want to wish everyone out there a Happy Mother’s Day!! I hope you are all getting spoiled like crazy today! My day started off with an early morning wake up call from Lucas, who insisted on coming in our bed and then instructed us not to talk to him / look at him. I was cracking up! After all, he came to see us! He could have just stayed in his bed if he wanted to be alone. B and L brought my presents to me while I was in bed and I loved each of them so much. Could L’s little handprints be any cuter?? Good lord! And I can’t wait to start reading Tina’s book. My boys did a great job this year! Last year B was out of the country for Mother’s Day and he sent flowers and I bought myself some stuff I wanted. Now that I think of it, that wasn’t so bad either!
We had a nice breakfast and then made a run to Target where I wandered around ay my leisure and tossed stuff in my cart without thinking about it. Obviously this has rubbed off on L, because he also does this and we also bought some Dora hand soap, a new dog toy and a train at his instruction. We all had a great time! I’m not sure what the rest of the day holds, but I hope it’s as great as this morning was! Thanks again boys! I love you both so much!!!
And I know Mother’s Day isn’t a happy holiday for everyone, so if you have lost your mother or are having trouble becoming a mother, or just flat out hate the day, my thoughts are with you!
