I got an e-mail from my SIL about CVS’s Halloween Party. L and I had nothing to do this afternoon, so we thought we’d go check it out. I think L was the only kid in costume at the time we were there (the event was from 12pm – 3pm at our store), but he didn’t care. Although this morning’s circular said it was “gift with purchase”, this was not the case for us. The clerk right away handed L a treat bag and he was thrilled. She took his picture and printed us a free 5 x 7, printed it right away and then delivered it to us in the store as we wandered around. I think we were there a total of 10 minutes. L loves wearing his costume(s), so this gave him one more reason to dress up! I’d totally recommend checking it out. I mean, free is free right?
And just for the record, L will never be getting his hands on that FunDip. As if.
I heard about this last night and took my son, who btw is also dressed as a fireman but in the tan costume since thats what our firefighters here wear! The guy accidentally printed more than he should have so he let me keep them all but that is the only good thing I have to say about him, he could have cared less about the kids so that was kind of a bummer.
I am digging the firefighter costume! Glad you got a treat bag without a purchase. That is a treat itself.
