A Few Shopping Notes…

The GAP Deals

While out shopping yesterday, we swung by BabyGap / GapKids. You know, just to look. And as it happened, sale items were an additional 30% off.  I scored a great rain jacket for L for $15, Halloween pajamas for WB for next year and a few other odds and ends.  I also picked up a few pairs of this seasons Holiday pjs since they were 40% off.  Luckily I didn’t see too much I liked ;).  GAP is one store you should never ever ever pay full price at.  Like right now they have a 30% off code and if you go through ebates you will get an additional 10% cash back.  No seriously.  10% back!!  How amazing is that?

CVS Deals

This morning I was flippin through the sale papers and came across the CVS ad. And after I saw all the FREE items (after Extra Care Bucks) I rushed to the store. I didn’t get everything that was free this week, but I found most of it. They had a lot of the free ends on an end cap in the main aisle, but some of them you needed to hunt for, which made it more fun. As luck would have it, my Extra Care Bucks did not print with my receipt. Any couponeer knows that this sucks. But the cashier was awesome and happily manually enter the information in and got them for me. And, umm, what’s even better is that when they manually enter them, the system rounds up to the nearest dollar. So instead of getting an Extra Care Buck for $1.25, I got one for $2. So not only did I end up getting this all for FREE, I got an additional $9 in Extra Care Bucks! SCORE!

Did you do any shopping this weekend? Score anything amazing? Let’s hear!
