My PopSugar Luxury Edition Must Have Box arrived a day earlier than anticipated and I was thrilled! Seriously it was like an early Christmas here today. So many goodies on my porch!
Unlike every other PopSugar box, this wasn’t in a white box with a pink PopSugar label. Nope, it was a plain brown box. Even I wasn’t sure at first what it was. It was way bigger and way heavier than any other PopSugar Must Have box too. The Luxury Box weighed 8.3lbs.
Inside the box was a very nice black gift box with a silver ribbon. If you were giving this as a gift, you wouldn’t even have to wrap it.
Usually PopSugar wraps the items in pink tissue paper, but for the Luxury Box, they used all black. I know it looks grey, but that is because I am awful at taking these pictures.
The information booklet was much fancier than normal too. You can kinda see, but it’s on nice glossy paper instead of just, well, paper. I’ll spare you the details of every single page.
Okay, now the good part! Here’s what’s inside:
Deborah Lippmann Lip and Nail Duet (in Love Notes) ($38): Love this! I actually loved all the set colors, so I would have been happy with whatever I received. I have a few Deborah Lippmann polishes and it’s always such a splurge item!
Tocca Candle (in Yma)($38): This candle is strong. When I opened the box, this was the first thing I smelled. And considering their are a lot of scents in the Luxury Box, that’s saying a lot. I really really like it, so I am very happy with this!
– Vosges Mini Chocolate Library ($25): I really wanted the set of nine different mini bars, but ended up the set of 3 Peppermint Candy Cane, 3 Woolloomooloo and 3 Amalfi. Don’t get me wrong, none of them sound even remotely bad, but I would have liked to sample all the flavors. But I am guessing between B and I, these will be very much enjoyed!
– Epicuren After Bath Moisturizer (in Lemongrass) ($38): Shockingly, I really like this scent too! B&BW used to have a Lemongrass Sage lotion that I was totally hooked on and this kind of reminds me of it. And this is something I would never buy myself. $38 for 8oz of lotion? That’s crazy. And that’s the entire point of the Luxury Box!
Compagne de Provence Liquid Hand Soap (in Olive & Lavender)($24): This is another item I never would buy on my own, but I am totally excited to try it. I wash my hands no less than 8,000 times a day and oddly enough, they are getting very dry. This stuff is suppose to be amazing and I cannot wait to test it out.
Heather Belle Niki Cuff – Polished Brass($52): I could take this or leave it. I don’t love it, but I don’t hate it. I’ll wear this here and there for sure. I’ve never owned a cuff like this, so why not try it out you know?
Jewelmint Clutch($60): Meh, I’m not of fan of the clutch I got. There were 4 different options (2 envelope ones, this jeweled one and a bottle / flask one) and I think this is the one I disliked the most. I plan to try and trade it over at MUT because I think a lot of girls liked this one. It’s a nice quality clutch, but it’s just not my style. Although, the more I look at it, the better it gets.
All totaled, the PopSugar Luxury Box has a value of $275. Not bad considering that the box cost $100. After seeing everything in person, I am much happier than I was before. All the products are a very good size and I don’t know how else to say it, but they really do seem luxurious. Most are items I hadn’t heard of or would never purchase for myself, which I believe was the intent of the box.

After seeing this, I actually cant wait for the clutch. All I saw were the envelope ones and wasnt thrilled. But I really do like the one you got!!
I got the flask purse, while very cute, is not very functional (umm, keys?). Yours would have been my choice!
Your clutch is cute! I received the sparkly silver one. Not a fan! I got my box today too & I really enjoyed it! I wish I would’ve waited until Christmas though
Debating whether or not to purchase the regular January must have pop sugar bag. Do you have any thoughts. I’m worried that since many people are recently subscribing quality will fall. What do you think??
My luxury box arrived and unfortunately the hand soap bottle had leaked out over everything! Though most of the product was usable all the packaging was ruined ( the cuff was a bit tarnished from being wet). In that box I received the envelope clutch which I really didn’t like. Sent an e-mail (used the contact info on the website) and was asked to send photos which I did. They overnighted me a new box. Awesome customer service! The new box had the flask looking purse. Not something I can use but it’s cute and maybe I can give as a gift. The cuff in this box was bent but I was able to smooth it out. Not sure I’d ever pay $100 for one of their boxes again, but I can use or gift most of this box so I’m not unhappy with it. (By the way I wasn’t the only one that had a box that something had leaked, I came across several others that this happened too with the hand soap).

I just opened mine. As I unwrapped each one, it was clear each was a luxe item. I’ve used the Savon before, so was excited about that. Vosges is always yum. I love trying new products, so look forward to exploring the others. The bracelet, I, too, and kind of meh about. The last one I opened though was the JewelMint clutch. That’s when I went WOW! I got the flask bag. It’s FAB.U.LOUS. After flipping off the “cap”, the top of the bag (or neck of the flask, so to speak) can be pulled open wide, allowing easy access to put in the few essentials one would need for an evening out. For me, the bag made the whole thing worthwhile. Yay!
I’m glad to have read your review of this. I just got my December Popsugar box and loved it. I can’t wait for January. I was kind of disappointed that I missed out on the luxury box, but I think I would have been frustrated too if I’d gotten items out of a choice that I liked the least. Several of the items are awesome, though! That Tocca candle is amazing. I wear Stella by Tocca as my perfume and it’s my favorite!
I received an envelope bag – I’d love to sell it! I also wouldn’t mind selling the cuff I received. Anyone interested?
My Luxury Box also arrived damaged, like Mrs. L’s: the Savon leaked all over the place, soaked the Tocca candle and the Jewelmint box through, and also caused some tarnish on the cuff. Overall, I liked the products, but it was a HUGE bummer to have to pick through the sticky mess of soap and paper and cardboard to find the salvageable items. I just emailed PopSugar and sent them a bunch of photos of the damage to see if they can do anything for me, so I was super happy to read that they sent Mrs. L a new box! I hope they’ll do the same for me!
