~We went to Crossroads Village Saturday night to attend their “Holiday Magic” event. We’d never been, but enjoy the Halloween event they have, so we decided to check it out. And it did not disappoint. L is still fighting a cold, but he loved riding the train and seeing all the lights and riding the carousel (that thing goes FAST) and well, everything.
~We didn’t get a chance to get our tree this weekend, so that’s probably to have to wait till next weekend. Or maybe even tomorrow night? Perhaps picking a tree in the dark is the way to do it? Either way, I am guessing B and I will get into a nasty argument about which tree to pick. It is a tradition of ours. We like to leave super annoyed with each other and with a tree neither of us love ;). A few years ago B was in Afghanistan right up until Christmas, so I picked out a huge a** tree all by myself. It was so perfect. Until one night L and I came home to this. It may have been to large for our tree stand. Oops.
~So I got an offer in the mail from “Beau Rivage” (an MGM property in Biloxi, MS) for, get this this, round trip airfare for two and a 3-night stay at the resort. All for free. Because I am a high roller I guess (LOL). The only catch is that you have to travel during a certain week in December, which does NOT work for me. Figures. MGM must really want me to give them back that $100 I won there a few weeks ago huh? It’s happen soon enough MGM, I promise.
~It appears my car (I drive a 2013 Ford Escape) is under a massive recall. Not a bring it in when you have a few seconds recall. A stop driving your car right now and call us ASAP and we’ll get you a loaner car recall. I kind of feel like if they are wanting to provide you with a free rental for who knows how long (they don’t have a *fix*) for this yet, it must be serious. I have to say though, that the possibility of engine fires aside, I really really like my Escape!
~If you have little ones, when did you start them on table food? Every time we are eating something I think WB can handle, I give him a taste of it and he goes CRAZY for it. And then he screams when I don’t give him more. I can pretty much see his mouth watering.
~It’s only the 3rd of the month, but I am getting super excited for all my boxes to start arriving. I should be getting the November Mantry Box and December’s Stork Stack soon, but this month but might the best package month ever!
