It’s 90% Off Target Christmas Clearance Time (I Think)

Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.

I heard reports of some Target’s going 90% off (on their Christmas clearance) yesterday and I have my fingers crossed that my stores will join them today (I am betting they do and yours will too). I am specifically in search of the following “hidden” gems:

Rachel Ray Stoneware Brown & Bubble Oven Ovals:  I believe that these should ring up $4.99 today (reg. $49.99) and I know a few of my local stores still have some in stock.

I am also on the lookout for Nerf guns, Transformers (& Hello Kitty) toothbrushes, Crayola Dry Erase Play Sets, Disney Body Sprays, Batmans, Squishy Baff, Hello Kitty packets, Chuck the Trucks, etc.  Basically anything that I can get enough of for goodie bags, I’m in for!  Lots of this stuff does not look Christmas’ish and will likely be located in the regular (i.e. non-clearance areas) aisles.

I am also hoping to find some Nordic Ware kids baking sets, utensils, and maybe even a mini cupcake tin.

And of course, I will be scanning the Starbucks “31 Days” mug as soon as I get inside Target.  I still haven’t seen it for more than 30% off, but I am hoping to save more!

Some things to keep in mind when you are out shopping:

~Search the regular aisles.  Lots of people complain that they never find anything good.  I am certain if you look hard enough, you will find some fun hidden deals too!

Clearance Items Found in the Regular Aisles

~There are some woman’s pajama sets (including the famous gold / white polka dot set) that are part of the clearance and will ring up as $2.49 (reg. $24.99) if you can find them.  In addition to the polka dot ones, there are two other sets I know for sure about (see picture).  Look for the red tag with the snowflakes on it inside.

~If you aren’t sure if your store is 90% off, don’t call and ask because the operators generally don’t know.  It’s better to call with an item number (the Rachel Ray set item # is: 070020012) and ask the price.  $14.99 would mean it was still 70% off.  But $4.99 means get you butt to Target because it’s 90% off!

Happy shopping everyone!! And report back ASAP on what you find!

Spread the love

Ahh I have been on the hunt for those polka dot pjs … No luck finding them at my Target

  2. Abby

No polka dot pjs at the target here 🙁

You are really making me want to go hunt through Target AGAIN! I was there when it was 70% off. Thanks to your tips, I got the Hello Kitty megablocks, hidden with the identical “regular” ones and also got a kids spinning toothbrush for my 3yr old daughter that came with stickers for her to decorate, so she was in love (.49 cents!). Now I want to go find those pajamas!! Hope you get some good 90% off deals today!

How would I locate the item number for the gold polka dot pj’s?

    1. Jennifer

I don’t even know ;(. None of the online locators work anymore (unless the item is for sale online anyways and they are not). If you called the store with the item # (020115874) they *might* be able to help locate. That is for the small size. I think the item numbers change for different sizes??

90% off in Harrisburg, PA this morning. I found the Rachel Ray set, also found big sets of picture frames (not Christmas-y at all!) that were $3.99 instead of $39.99. Toddler clip on ties and striped socks (look for the silver tags on both) for 40 cents. Colgate snowman toothpaste not marked clearance on an end cap near napkins/paper towels was 29 cents. Got enough squishy baff to use as party favors for my son’s birthday next month. Lots of Nordicware stuff was left, although I decided to pass on the whisks and other wooden handled things because they said they were not dishwasher safe. Found a wilton candy cane pan for $1, also a gingerbread man muffin tin. Nordicware cookie making set for $2.49, the decorator thing you have pictured rang up full price but they adjusted it down to $1 because they said it should have been 90% off. Found Christmas shirts in with the baby/toddler regular clearance clothes — 90 cents each. I got cars, peanuts, and something else I don’t even remember. 🙂 My store only had one Chuck truck–that’s all they’ve had for the last few days and I decided not to make the drive to the other Target that had more a few days ago.

Soo glad I found this site! The Friday letters to cc co. & target were hilarious! So relieved to know that there are crazy deal hunters like me out there. My hubs just corrected me- the proper term is whack job?? Anywho, I will check out target but things go real fast in SoCal.

THANKS FOR PUTTING UP UR LIST!!!! I found the Rachael Ray dishes in the regular aisle unmarked but only $4.99 so I was able to score 4 for gifts! I also found Mickey shaped chip & dip bowls for only 99 cents (reg 9.99)!! I’m in SoCal so I’ll be using them for welcome baskets when fam & friends come visit. The Nordicware pans were all 6.98 & 10.48 so I passed on those. Good luck everyone on finding some awesome steals!!

Great finds! Yes, the RR is unmarked (like all the Christmas clearance is)! Glad you scored them!

THANK YOU!! I found your blog when I was searching to see if anyone was reporting that target was 90% off Christmas stuff today. Yours popped up and I followed your advice about calling with the style number, and it worked for the Rachel ray set! The girl told me it was 4.99. When I asked about the rest of Christmas, she told me it was only 70 off and wouldn’t go any higher. I even had her check with a manager who said the same thing. I had a hunch that because the Rachel ray was 4.99 the rest if the clearance might be as well. I almost didn’t go, but I did and wouldn’t you know, the signs said 70% but when I price checked it was all 90% off! I wouldn’t have even gone in today if you hadn’t given the tip about calling with a style number, because I would have believed the associate that it was still only at 70 off. Thank you so much! I found some clearance winter Oreos (29 cents!) and Reynolds foil in Christmas boxes for 29 cents too! I got several of each and then told other shoppers about it who were just as thrilled as I was. Thanks again, you made my day! I love a good deal!! (and I got the last Rachel ray set! They had more in blue but they were only 50% off)

Yay!!! I am glad you got the RR set! It never works when you ask for the % off, they never know!!

Oh what fun I had this weekend! In the last 24 hours I hit up 6 Target stores in my area and scored at every one! 2 of the RR sets, Tonka cars (so many), 2 Nordicware Gingerbread men, Nordicware cookie spatchula, 2 leopard pjs, 1 heart print pjs, believe t-shirt, bath goo (a ton) , Nordicware kids cooking tools, apron, Hello Kitty blocks, 2 snowman and rudolph wheelies, earrings, 3 cupcake rattles, 6 stuffed toys, earmuffs…could be things I am forgetting. Total spent $70!!! Thank you for the tips !

I am officially a fan! I stumbled upon your blog after searching for Target clearance. I was able to score several of the kids items, but no luck on the Nordicware and Rachel Ray item. Thank you for posting photos of your Target finds.

I have bookmarked your page as a new favorite, and I can’t wait to see your list of other hidden deals.

How do you know which toys will be the clearance ones?? I can scavenge clothes, dishes and decorations because of the tags, but never know which toys are included.

slow night so I’m reading all your target posts..lol

    1. Nicole

no ill go back and look for it though. Normally I go scouting and take pictures of things I want to look for when they are on clearance that way I make sure I’m getting the “right” clearance stuff.
