I did a post about Muffin Tin Meals over a year ago, but I don’t think many people read my blog back then.  So I’m doing it again. If you follow me on Instagram, you know that we are big into Muffin Tin Meals around here. Like really big into them.  L goes crazy for them.  He prefers the 12-cup mini muffin pan, while I prefer the 6-cup regular sized muffin pan.

If you’ve ever made a muffin tin meal you know that it’s not always easy to come up with twelve different ideas (or even six sometimes).  Well, without wasting things that is.  So I thought I’d share a few of my favorite ideas and hopefully it helps someone!  Here goes:
~Frozen Peas
~Apple Slices
~Peanut Butter (to dip your apples in)
~Orange Slices (I use Mandarin oranges because they are small)
~Sliced turkey (rolled up)
~Shredded Cheese / String Cheese / Sliced Cheese (cut up)
~Frozen Green Beans
~Hot Dogs
~Applesauce
~Yogurt
~Goldfish
~Grapes
~Blueberries (Frozen or fresh)
~Strawberries
~Raspberries
~Cereal
~M&M’s
~Corn
~Crackers
~Cut up sandwiches
~Carrots
~Ranch Dressing (to dip your carrots in)
~Chicken Nuggets
~Mini pretzels

Pretty much, if you have it, it can go in the muffin tin.  L wants every cup to be filled with something different, so I have to get creative with my ideas.  I can make a “sandwich” by putting bread in one, turkey in one and cheese in one, etc.  You could do a PB&J the same way.  Having tacos?  Put one taco topping in the each of the cups!

Oh and the question of “will he eat all that” comes up every time.  The answer is yes.  Nine times out of ten, L will eat the entire muffin tin meal.  It’s the variety.  He loves it.

Do your kids like muffin tin meals?  What do you put in them? And if you haven’t tried them yet, you totally should!  I cannot wait till WB is big enough to enjoy one!
