Will you watch the Superbowl? And who do you want to win?

Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.
Since it’s Superbowl week, I gotta ask, do you plan to watch? I will for sure be watching, even if I have to watch on the internet (which I admit will annoy me). I love that the coaches(*) of the opposing teams are brothers! Seriously, what are the odds that brothers would even be coaching in the NFL at the same time, much less competing against each other in the sports biggest game? Crazy! And of course I want to watch the commercials. Who doesn’t? For some reason watching them the next day isn’t the same. It’s just not. And what if something crazy goes down at halftime? I hope that the rumors are true and we really do get a Destiny’s Child reunion!

And I suppose I should also ask who you want to win the game?  The Baltimore Ravens or the San Francisco 49ers?  I am going to go for the 49ers because I really like San Francisco (the city) and it’s always more fun to cheer for someone!
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.

Any big plans for the game?  Do you have a party?  Go out?  Are you making any fun snacks?  I’d love to hear your ideas so I can steal them and call them my own! (**)

(*) If I am not mistaken, my cousin used to play football against Jim Harbaugh in high school. I think? It’s possible it’s someone totally different I am thinking of.
(**) I’m kidding!  Sort of.

Is it bad that I totally don’t even know who’s playing?! Sports are just not my thing…or hubby’s!

We always watch. We’re a football family!
I said “who cares” for winning, but I kind of want the Ravens to wipe their butts with San Fran! (my mom will be cheering for the 49ers though).
I’m still bitter about my team (Atlanta Falcons) losing to them 2 weeks ago.
Sore loser, maybe, but I don’t want them to win!
    :p
No special plans really, that I know of just yet,… just good food & probably family!

I’m happy it’s a local SF Bay Area team, so I have a team I can cheer for (and not just adopt some random team based on something dumb like team color). Last year was fun too, when I got to cheer on Aaron Rodgers, whose name I formally yelled a hundred times when I was in the student section at Cal (it was one of the cheers that year, not some weird obsession).

I’m protesting the Superbowl this year, I honestly think it was fixed and I’m not being a sore looser either (Denver Broncos fan/HUGE Peyton Manning stalker right here!!!!) Too many things were suspicious and wrong during the Broncos/Ravens playoff game…The refs were seriously making BS calls…not to mention the fact that the head of the NFL was on the Ravens sideline…HELLO…. The game was fixed! Plus I really don’t support murderers who get off by buying their acquital… Ray Lewis can retire without another superbowl ring in my opinion! Seriously, I’m not bitter or anything….

No special plans, just me and DH watching the game (actually he watches the game, I just watch the commercials!). We don’t even make party food, just your basic chips and dip. 🙂

Yeah, I have to watch because hubby darling here is a crackhead when it comes to Superbowl. We are doing the usual – hot wings & beer. We are doing some sangria this year. I don’t know how that ties in but we are. 🙂
Thanks for stopping by and thank you…Venture guys can make anything you do look so glamorous.

I had no idea the coaches are brothers! How cool!

We live closer to San Fran so that’s who we are rooting for. Plus their quarterback used to play for the college here so you can’t go anywhere without seeing people in 49ers jerseys. I like the Superbowl just for an excuse to serve finger foods for dinner.

I’ll be watching for the commercials.

I voted for the Ravens in the vote but really just hoping for a very edge of my seat exciting game and the commercials. I was hoping this year was for my teams turn to be there Atlanta “Falcons Rise Up’ but we just couldn’t do it. I usually do just snacks and my fav pepperoni/cheese/crackers tray, veggies with dip and oh yeah lots of beer with family.
