Sunday Sentiments

Disclosure: If you make a purchase through the links posted below, I may receive a small compensation. Read the full disclosure.

Once again, Jen doesn’t know it, but I am link-ing up for Sunday Sentiments. Β Even though it’s not a link-up ;).

~All the college basketball I have been watching this weekend has me thinking about Selection Sunday, March Madness, filing out my brackets, etc. Β And I was wondering, would anyone want to do a Bracket Challenge? Β Sadly we can’t do it for money (cause that’s illegal), but I am sure I can cough up some prize for the winner(s). Β Plus, it will be fun! Β Let me know what you think!

~At L’s request, we are counting down to Easter with books, like just we did for Christmas. Β If he wants to read more, I am happy to wrap up every single Easter book we have in the house you know? Β And as luck would have it, we have 24! Β So from now till the night before Easter, he can pick one book a night to read. Β And when the books are gone, the Easter Bunny will fill the basket up! Β Oh and I didn’t number them this time. Β I wrapped with craft paper and decorated with stickers. Β I couldn’t just leave it plain brown.

The Book Basket

~We ran to the mall yesterday and I couldn’t resist browsing the clearance racks at the GAP. Β I scored some super cute orange cords for $2.98 and a pair of PJ’s for WB for next Christmas for $4.48 (final sale prices plus an additional 25% off). Β B loves when I scour the clearance racks like this and waits so patiently for me ;).

The Deals

~While at the mall, I was planning to buy the iPad mini for my giveaway, but frankly, the Apple store was blown out and I didn’t want to deal with a stroller in there. Β So I decided I am going to buy the iPad as soon as a winner gets picked (I think it ends Saturday maybe) and ship it right to their house. Β Cool? Β You’ll be able to pick white or black and it gets me out of worrying about it getting lost in the mail.

~A few of you have been asking how you can subscribe to my blog, so I added an e-mail subscription option to my sidebar. Β If you want to make sure you never miss a post, this is your chance.Β  I believe that I am currently the only subscriber (I just wanted to make sure it worked first – it does).

That’s all for tonight. Β I am going to enjoy the rest of my evening and relax for the wild subscription box week ahead. Β Seriously, it’s going to be crazy around here and I cannot wait! Β I share in the morning exactly what I am expecting to receive this week!! Β Enjoy the rest of your night!!!!

Spread the love

I say this idea on Pinterest and totally thought of you. You take those plastic eggs and use them to serve lunch in them. Like grapes in one, maybe pieces of cheese in another, etc. Seemed like something L would love!

The book basket would have been a total hit here when mine were younger! I’ve got a house FULL of avid readers. πŸ™‚

I’ve got to make an appointment at Apple and I’m dreading it!! It is always such a zoo there. :/ Good for them, not so fantastic for me. I can’t even imagine navigating that mess with a stroller.
