Years ago, when we moved into our house, we had to wait for WEEKS to get the internet (and cable) turned on. Cable was kinda just meh to me, but the internet? OMG I almost cried when B told me we’d have to wait so long for an appointment. Although I worked and could use the internet there (we didn’t even have any sites blocked at my job while was amazing) and I had my cell phone it wasn’t enough. I had to buy an “unlimited” internet card for those few weeks. Turns out that unlimited doesn’t mean the same thing to everyone and I was stuck with a nasty bill for overages, but that’s a story for another day.
So I gotta know, how long could you go without internet? A day? A week? An hour? I probably could go maybe a day or two without checking my e-mail and getting caught up on the latest Facebook gossip, but I won’t lie, the thought of it makes me super anxious. I am guessing this isn’t “normal”, but who knows? Could you make it a week? Or do you need access hourly????
