I’m tossing around the idea of having multiple winners for the August favorite things giveaway and wanted to get your thoughts on it. Since I started doing them (gosh, all the way back in January / February), its’ been winner takes all. Which is great and all – if you are the winner! But I am thinking of mixing things up a little for August and including say, 10 prizes and having 10 winners. Thought son this? Should we do it this way or stick with the way it’s been done in the past?
It doesn’t make too much difference to me, other than instead of having to ship one package, I’d have to ship multiple ones, but I can deal with that. Â What do you think? Â Any is there anything you’d love to see included? Â Maybe something from a past giveaway you wished you would have won?
I like the idea of ‘one winner, one prize’ so that the love and happiness can be spread around! This is also coming from someone who has never won so maybe a past winner would have a different opinion. I’d love to see some headphones included.
Well, if my name is picked first, then I’d want all ten items to go to one person. But if I’m not the name picked then I would go with ten individual winners. So I guess it just depends 🙂

Depending on what you’re giving away, maybe you could have some prize “bundles” and some standalone prizes? You could group smaller prizes together (two to four small prizes) and then give away more substantial ones separately. That way there would be more winners but each prize would still feel “complete.” (Also, less shipping!)

Also, a suggestion for something to include in a future giveaway: the MicrodermaMitt. It’s kind of on the spendy side but I bought it with my Birchbox points and it’s AMAZING. A lot of people wouldn’t be able to justify the purchase but it works better than any of the zillion scrubs I’ve tried.

I think all of your giveaways are awesome (including the one I won!) and it’s generous of you to do them at all, plus it’s a lot of fun to enter and I’ve gotten a friend to start reading your blog based on a conversation about the giveaways and raffles. I think it’d be fun to shake it up! Maybe do a few months of one item per person, and then switch to some hybrid, like 4 winners, 3 with 3 items each and the 4th with a “grand prize” like an iPad mini or Clarisonic. Once you get bored again you can go back to one giant giveaway for a single winner!
I love to see an item from the Stella & Dot “Companions” like a pouf (so sad the elephant one is sold out but the others are cute too!). And of course a big-ticket item like an iPad mini would be amazing.
