Crafter’s Crate is a monthly subscription box that delivers hand-picked crafts and activities made for girls. It’s $19.99/month and is billed for girls ages 5-12. And yes, I know I don’t have any little girls, but if Crafter’s Crate wants me to review their boxes and allow me the chance to pass it along to a friend’s daughter who will LOVE it, I’m all over that!

The Box

Crafter’s Crate ships via USPS Priority Mail and has their cute elephant logo painted (?) on the box. I love that the boxes are painted because it proves that you don’t need expensive preprinted boxes to be cute.

First Look

Crafter’s Crate boxes are always packaged so nicely and really makes it look like a present is coming!  And if I wasn’t passing this box along, I would totally keep that ribbon for a craft project or something. #hoarder.

The Information Card

The July Crafter’s Crate theme is “Spa” and includes 5 spa related projects.  I’d seen the theme in advance which made me even more excited to get my hands on the box!  Here are the projects that were included:

~Beauty Sleeping Mask: The idea behind the mask is to help teach your daughter to relax, her mind and just enjoy the peace and quiet for a few minutes.  I think this is a great lesson these days because no one (myself included) seems to just relax anymore.  If I am sitting outside alone, I need to be reading a magazine, surfing the web, etc.  I can’t just sit.  I need to work on that.

~Rockin’ Bath Salts: I think these rockin’ bath salts look so fun to make!  I think it’s even something L would LOVE to make!  Also I think that kid will be taking baths for the rest of his life.  He likes them 100x more than showers.  And blue bath salts would be something he’d love!

~Avocado Face Mask: Pretty sure I am going to do this as soon as I go to the store and get some avocados.  I can’t believe I have never done an avocado mask before??

~Erasable Door Hanger: This is another project that L would love as well. It’s an door hanger that Crafter’s Crate suggests using to allow your daughter to get a little alone time to read or do homework without being disturbed!  And it looks super fun to make.

~Lip Balm by Me: My favorite project in the box is DIY Lip Balm! I have made lip balm before (years ago) and thought it was very fun and interesting that it’s seriously so easy.  This is an awesome project for a young girl and gives her a beauty product that she made herself and can be proud of!

Clara loved it 🙂 When they have good boxes (all but 1 so far!) then I think it’s a GREAT deal. Even though it might not cost $20 to buy all the supplies to make that, I totally wouldn’t put that together on my own, ya know?

So I’ll keep that subscription for now 🙂

I’ll take it if you don’t know who to send it too~ I have two little girls 7 and 5 🙂

I would totally do every single one of these for me! =)
