July Fancy Box

Since Fancy and are back on good terms (I finally got a refund I had been working on for ages), I decided to go ahead and continue my with Fancy Box subscription. This is a regular (not celebrity curated) July Fancy Box with the categories “Home”, “Gadgets” and “Sports and Outdoors”.

The Box

My July Fancy Box arrived nice and early this morning. Not only was my FedEx lady early, she was also actually driving a FedEx truck! Sometimes she drives a Budget Rental Truck because her FedEx truck is ALWAYS broken down.

First Look

I had no idea what to expect when I opened my Fancy Box.  I wasn’t sure if I’d get items I’d seen in Fancy Boxes from like last week (paper straws, a mini camera, a crazy Fancy logo neon tee, etc.) or if I’d get the new batch of items.  Happily I got the new batch!  And yes, I thought they sent me two of the same items.  Turns out they didn’t ;).

The Information Cards

Back when I first started with Fancy, the information cards used to be much bigger.  They are all the same size now as the celebrity curated cards now.  I don’t think they are any better or any worse, just different than they used to be!  Here’s what our July Fancy Box included:

~Molla Space Aqua Pouch Speaker ($20): This pouch / speaker lets you use your iPhone and listen to music and not have to worry about water damage!  You can use the touch screen through the pouch and you can make and receive calls. I am putting my phone in this TODAY before I go outside with the kids and play in the pool!  This will also be amazing for up-north on the boat and heck, even on the jet ski!

~Chef’n Veggichop ($19.95): I have a similar item from Tupperware and I love it to make salsa and this looks to be along the same lines.  While I love this, I don’t need two, so I am guessing this will end up in the Mystery Giveaway I am working on?

Chef’n Veggichop

~chef’n Burger Machine ($14.07): Fancy must really want me to eat burgers because I got a mini burger press from the Tyler Florence Fancy Box earlier in the month and now this one.  I *think* we still have a full-sized burger press, but if B decides this one is nicer we will go with this one!

~The Fancy Wayfarer ($30): I wouldn’t pay $30 for these, but they are the nicest sunglasses I have gotten from Fancy for sure.  They are coated in rubber so they aren’t the hard plastic you’d expect.  The information card says that we’ll be one of the first to rock these “matte black” sunglasses, however, mine are the tortoise.  I think I like the tortoise better for me anyway, I am not going to contact them about the difference.

The Fancy Wayfarer

~Sophie Sparrow Shark Tooth Necklace ($40): The more I look at this, the more I like it. The chain is long, which I love and it’s a nice and heavy.  And it brought back memories of a fun college trip to Florida with Lisa over at The Yuppie Traveler and a big hunt for shark tooth anklets.  Yes, I said anklets.  Remember, this was the 90’s…..

All totaled my July Fancy Box had a value of $124.02!  Probably one of the most valuable Fancy Boxes I have ever received!  It was WAY more than the $46.95 cost of the box ($39 + $7.95/shipping) and it might be one of my favorite non-celeb curated Fancy Boxes ever!

Did you get a Fancy Box this month?  What’d you think?  If you are interested in subscribing or want to learn more, click here.  Ohh, and if you are having trouble finding the different Fancy boxes, just do a search for “Fancy Box”, click the “For Sale” button on the right and they will all come up!  You can use “FOLLOWUP10″ to save 10% off your box, but of course I will let you know when  I find a better code!
